Today, I want to discuss hard-earned items, especially relic weapons. But certain dazzling weapons may be obtained with little effort if the relics are divided into specific stages. Kindly consider my best recommendations for a great value-effort ratio. If you want to maximize your character’s power, only Shadowbringer’s relic makes sense to grind, but apart from that, there are so many shiny beauties already. So let’s get started on acquiring the sexiest relic weapons in FFXIV.
1-2 Hours Grind Time: Zenith Relic Weapon
Starting with my absolute favorite when it comes to minimal effort for a shiny weapon, the second stage of the zodiac relic weapon, which is featured in a Realm Reborn and can easily be hunted down in 1 to 2 hours starting from scratch and without preparing anything.
Yet the reward is your shiny Zenith weapon which can look incredibly cool already.Â
2-3 Hours Grind Time: Awoken Anima Relic WeaponÂ
Relic Weapons of Heavensward, Anima Weapons. The Anima Weapon quest chain is unlocked by completing the level 50 Relic Weapon or Zodiac Weapon quest chains.
The Anima Weapon quest chain is easier for players that have Zodiac Zeta Weapons. With the WAR Zeta weapon, you will have an edge over the DRK anima weapon.
4-5 Hours Grind Time: Bozja Relic Weapon
Before thinking about finishing your Heavensward relic weapon, which is still the easiest relic weapon as a whole. Another one that doesn’t take more than three to four hours, namely the first shiny version of the Shadowbringer’s relic weapon, which, according to many people’s feedback is already a damn good-looking weapon. Some consider it as being much cooler than the final step of the shadow bringer’s weapon.Â
Hence, it’s worth grinding this step; at least the first requirement here is to have completed the Shadowbringer’s MSQ until and including the quest called Shadowbringers. This whole fate and dungeon grind will take you around about 4 to 5 hours according to your reading speed or completion phase. When looking at the gorgeous design of these weapons, you should consider doing this step even when you’re not putting your feet into Bozja.
12-24 Hours Grind Time: Anima Relic Weapon
The big bonus on the Heavensward anima relic is that you can complete most of the grind passively. Knowing exactly what you need to spend your poetics for, you can use whatever tomestones of poetics you get to catch up on materials.Â
I would dare to say if you have gathered up the special arm stuff in advance, this whole series doesn’t take more than 10 hours total to be completed afterward. So hop in there and start prepping some special arms materials for your character. Even when not preparing anything, this is still the most rewarding relic weapon of all times, especially for jobs like the dark knight, dragoon, or summoner, for example. Offering one of the unique weapon designs you can find in FFXIV.
1-2 Days Grind Time: Zodiac Relic Weapon
This is the realm reborn relic weapon quest line which is not that hard, but there’s a little bit of time investment to be spent here, especially when you have to grind down specific fates.
Even if this whole step may take you at least 1 or 2 days of active playtime, the weapon is worth it, and I was happy to have farmed it for my paladin.
2-3 Days Grind Time: Eureka Anymos – Hydatos
Redefining the term grind once again starting with Eureka while the first shiny stage of Bozja is an easy and quick takeaway; the first Anima’s shiny weapon isn’t.Â
After unlocking all sorts of things in Eureka, you have quests to complete to level up to elemental level 20, which requires you to participate in a good amount of notorious monster events, which are self-spawn fates. At least for the feathers, you’re going to have a group with five or more people, so this content is group-dependent and scales up and down with the active number of players significantly.
I hope this can sum up my recommendations and offer a basic overview of the time investment and rewards you’re looking at in the relic department.
