Why Choose To Mine?

There are three Disciples of the Land you’ll find: Miner, Botanist, and Fisher. Miners are defined as those that can give stone materials to be processed by the Blacksmiths.

These are then used by the Armorers, Goldsmiths, and Leatherworkers. Mining is one of the more profitable ways to earn more Gil in the game.

Let’s go through some of the ores you should sell to earn more gil.

Top Ores To Sell For Gil

Platinum ore

Platinum ore requires level 50 to mine. It sells for aorund 200 gil at the moment.

Lumythrite ore

Lumythrite roe requires level 60 to mine. It sells for around 1k gil at the moment, making it one of the best masterbook ores to gather.

Chromite ore

Chromite ore requires level 70 to mine. It sells for around 850 gil at the moment.

Solstice stone

Solstice stone requires level 80 to mine. It sells for around 1k gil at the moment.

Adamantite ore

Adamantite ore requires level 60 to mine. It sells for around 800 gil.

Alumen

Alumen is bought often at 99 stacks each time; 99 would be 16k gil.

Silver ore

Silver ore requires level 25 to mine, frequently sells over 150 gil for one. People will often undercut you with this; just buy them out.

Granite

It sells for almost 300 gil each and sells very often at 99 stacks; it’s used for housing, good for low-level players.

Electrum ore

Electrum ore requires Level 43 to mine. It sells for around 200 each.

Titanium ore

Titanium ore requires level 55 to mine. It sells for around 680 gil at the moment, which is a lot.

Domar iron ore

Domar iron ore requires level 65 to mine. It sells for around 200 gil at the moment.

Darksteel ore

Darksteel ore requires level 50 to mine. It sells for around 550 gil at the moment.

1. Molybdenum ore

To mine the Molybdenum ore, you should level your miner to at least level 70 and gear up so you can get a perception stat of at least 690.

Similar to the other items in this list, this particular ore can create ingots that the Blacksmith crafts. With the ingot, you can use it for roofing purposes and for certain rare weapons that have glowing characteristics when unsheathed.

Some players also use those for glamour, making them a high-price item in the market. You can also use the ingot for barding. The best thing about selling this ore is the opportunity to sell it to lazy people as that’s how you’ll gain the most profit.

Also, prepare for the prices to fluctuate so don’t rely on prices alone.

2. Bluespirit ore

You should at least level your miner to at least 74 if you want to obtain the Bluesprint ore. Also, it’s a requirement to have a perception stat of at least 1080.

You’ll find that the most popular ores in this list are necessary ingredients to make ingots. This particular ore is used to make a Bluespirit Tile, otherwise known as a stone.

It’s used to create things like walls and furniture and craft both primary and secondary tools and weapons. The basic description of Bluespirit in the game is an aether-rich mineral.

Bluespirit ores, in general, are remarkable since they’re needed to construct things and weapons needed in fights, housing, and crafting. It’s also possible for retainers to gather this.

3. Titancopper ore

You can obtain the Titancopper ore by leveling up your Miner to a minimum of 77 and a perception stat of at least 1166.

The minute Patch 5.2 was released; several new housing walls were also provided. So this means you need new materials to craft these new walls. This is where the significance of Titancopper ore comes into the picture.

You need a lot if you’re serious about crafting the housing wall, so you also need to be serious about your farming skills.

If your Miner is currently at level cap, it’s advisable to sell Titancopper ore. When you’re able to sell this in large chunks or quantities, you’ll see exactly everything this ore is worth. You must take advantage of other players wanting to get new housing, so this variety of ore is currently in demand. The walls look pretty nice, so we’d go as far as to say that this will sell for an extended period.

The best thing about Titancopper ore is that it’s a relatively new ore that’s easy to gather and actively exchange in the market.

 4. Dimythrite ore

To obtain the Dimythrite ore, your Miner should be at least 80, and your perception stat at least 1250.

Aside from the ore we’ve mentioned above, you also have a choice of farming Dimythrite ores. This is necessary to craft the popular housing walls in the game, so it’s just as in demand. The post-processed product of this item could also be used for Patch 5.3’s new furniture. Another thing is that this was previously used as a collectible found in Rowena’s House of Splendors.

So, in other words, Dimythrite ore is an asset since it’s also actively exchanged in the market, can be sold in massive quantities, can be gathered as collectible, and your retainers could potentially grab this.

5. Mythrile ore

To obtain the Mythrile ore, your Miner should be a minimum of level 53 and a perception stat of at least 321.

To craft greater varieties of Mythril ingots, you would need one necessary base – the Mythril ore. You can process this into three types of ingots, and this is a widely popular ore as well. The ingots created from this can craft rare glowing weapons we’ve mentioned earlier. You can also farm this as low as level 53, compared to the other ores mentioned in this list.

There might even be a chance you can farm this at 6 per gathering attempt, that is, if you’re at level 80 and well-geared. The bottom line is that Mythril ore is great since it’s widely used, can be sold in large quantities, actively exchanged in the market, and your retainers could potentially gather this.

Since it’s sold in large quantities, you also save yourself a lot of time on your hands.

Takeaway

In conclusion, this is everything you need to know about making Gil through mining. Each ore mentioned in this list has distinct features and market value, so make sure to check the value on your server.
