Starstone Mines

The Volkami, a werewolf-like creature, has kidnapped locals and forced them to do slavery within their mines.

Relatively short, there is only one miniboss before the main boss. The miniboss is trivial as well, and is a simple DPS check. Kill the adds that the miniboss spawns, and defeat it; there are no detailed mechanics.

Final Boss: Volberus

Normal HP: 127,480,000

Hard HP: 318,700,000

Enrage: 8:00

Phases: 95%, 75%, 50%, 30%, 10%

Roles:

Flame Buffers (Preferably Ranged: 1 or 3 players needed)

Markers (Preferably Melee: 2 for Normal, 3 for Hard Mode)

This ice-elemental boss will perform several attacks which inflict the Freeze debuff. If you have Freeze, you must use an escape skill (ss/q/e) or clear it with a debuff removal skill. If you are hit with Freeze again while you already have it, it will change into Frost Prison, which will immobilize you for 15 seconds and instantly kill you if it expires. This can only be removed by a Flame Buffer, which will be explained under mechanics.

Normal Rotation:

2x Linear Pounds + AoE Slam (Knockdown on last hit) → Linear Frontal Uppercut (Unblockable, Launch) + Linear Frontal Slam (Unblockable, Knockdown) → Double 180 Degree Frontal Swipes → Linear Frontal Freezing Breath (Unblockable, applies Freeze) or 180 Degree Frontal Sweep angled toward the boss’s front right (Knockback and Knockdown) → Linear Frontal Kick (Knockback and Knockdown) → Double 180 Degree Frontal Swipes

If the tank is too far from the boss, it will do an unblockable charge tackle that knocks back and down. If the tank doesn’t remove knockdown, the boss will grapple them and gnaw at them. This can be grab countered or removed by Second Wind.

Mechanic Phases:

There are seven adds scattered around the outside of the arena. The phases start with the boss awakening a particular add, or a set of adds for the final phase.

95,75,50,30,10%

All of these phases are similar. During the start of the phase, a message warns “Volberus awakens the Greywolves” and the appropriate add will come to life and charge toward the closest person to the boss, and the boss will do a room-wide roar that stuns. One of the Flame Buffers needs to be the one to last-hit the add to receive the Flame buff. This buff is crucial to mechanics and can transfer to other players on touching them, but during this time the Flame Buffer must avoid prematurely transferring the buff. At the same time, the Markers should position themselves as close to the boss as possible while on opposite sides from each other

After several more attacks from his normal rotation, a message warns “Volberus searches for prey” and the boss will choose a number of Markers; in Normal Mode he will choose the 2 closest players, while in Hard Mode he will choose the 3 closest players. They will be connected by a beam of ice energy, which will constantly inflict and refresh a 5 second Freeze debuff on them. If the markers get 30 meters from each other, then the link will snap and inflict Frost Prison for 15 seconds on each markers. If any Marker is carrying the Flame buff when they receive the Marker or when the link snaps and applies Frost Prison, the Flame buff will be removed. The Markers need to make the link snap happen as fast as possible by SSing away from the middle; in Hard the Markers should break off one-by-one so that there is enough time for all of them to receive the Flame buff.

The Flame Buffer who has the Flame buff now needs to touch one of the frozen Markers. This will defrost them and transfer the Flame buff to them. The Flame buff can transfer to people who aren’t frozen, so avoid running into them or they have to carry on the role. If Frost Prison just naturally times out, the person will take massive damage in Normal Mode, or instantly die in Hard mode. The first marker then unfreezes the second marker, who will then unfreeze the third marker. After transferring the Flame buff, you receive the Burnout debuff, which prevents you from re-acquiring Flame for 20 seconds.

After marking the boss will do the following rotation:

Freezing Breath (at farthest) → 2x (Normal)/3x (Hard) Frost Wave → Freezing Breath (at farthest) → 2x/3x Frost Wave → Permafrost → Absorption

Freezing Breath (Linear AoE, unblockable, inflicts Freeze/Frost Prison)

The boss spits a linear frost breath at the direction of the farthest person, just sidestep it. Getting hit by this will remove the Flame buff.

Frost Wave(room wide, unblockable, inflicts Freeze/Frost Prison)

The boss charges frost energy, then leaps into the air and slams the ground two times in Normal or three times in Hard. Each jump is aimed at random spots around the room except for the final jump which will be in the middle of the room. Each landing impact deals damage and emits a room-wide Frost Wave that must be iframed, jumped over, or dashed through. Getting hit by the wave will remove the Flame buff.

Permafrost(Room wide, unblockable, inflicts Frost Prison; must iframe, not sheathe)

This attack is performed after the sixth Frost Wave during mechanic phases and must be iframed. Using Force Master’s or Destroyer’s Frost Sheath or Iron Plating respectively will cause the Flame Buff to be lost, do not use it.

At the end of the phase, the boss will absorb all Frost Prison/Flame stacks. If he absorbs at least 1 Flame buff, he will receive the “Internal Flame Damage” debuff. This debuff ticks for 20 seconds, then inflicts 10% of the boss’s maximum HP upon expiration. For every Frost Prison debuff absorbed, including those from dead players, the boss will heal 3%.

Skipping the final phase is possible if he reaches 10% before Internal Flame expires.

Note: The marking is purely time-based and is separate from the HP-based add summon, making it possible for the boss to apply Markers before he has summoned adds. As such it is crucial that you do not fail mechanics by losing Flame.

Rewards:

Hellion Earring

The Hellion Earring is a legendary earring that can be upgraded to the PvP Skypearl Earring or PvE Apex Earring. Hard Mode also has an extremely rare chance to drop the Shrinestone Chest, a tradeable chest containing this Earring and uses a key from Cold Storage to open. You can also buy the earring from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 200 Hellion Cores, which also requires the Volberus 10-kill achievement.

The PvP Skypearl:

Receiving damage has a chance to grant the “Skypearl” buff for 30 seconds, increasing Attack Power by 20, Debuff Damage by 100, and Max HP by 2,000, stacks up to 10 times.

All attacks during the Skypearl buff inflicts 500/1,000/1,500/2,000 life drain at Stage 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10 respectively.

Passively increases maximum Prestige Point cap by 100% at Stage 10.

The PvE Apex:

Causes all attacks to have a chance to grant the “Apex” buff for 6 seconds, increasing Boss Attack Power by 5/7/10/15 and Additional Damage by 75/100/125/200 at Stage 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10, stacks up to 3 times.

Passively increases Attack Power by 3 and Critical Damage by 350 on all Stages.

Starstone Gloves

An uncommon drop with overall higher stats than the Hollow’s Gloves, and a breakthrough material for the King Gloves from Hollow’s Heart. It can be upgraded to Awakened with 100 Soulstone Crystals and 30 Sacred Crystals, which has a chance for attacks to inflict 2,000 Additional Damage. However, the Awakened form cannot be used for the King Gloves breakthrough.

Blackstone

These stones are fairly common, and are used for evolving Raven weapon stage 7-9, Hellion Ring or Earring breakthroughs, and Awakened Skybreak Spire accessories, as well as using 25 to buy a Khanda Vihar Elemental Prism from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns along with 250 Hellion Cores and 100 Gold to upgrade a Faded Raven Accessory into a Skybreak Spire accessory. The daily for this dungeon give fragments, 10 of which can be combined into a single Blackstone.

Hellion Core

The final boss drops a chest containing this item. On Normal, the chest contains 1 with a chance for an additional 5; on Hard the chest contains 2 with a chance for an additional 10.

200 Hellion Cores can be traded to Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns. The accessory also requires having the 10-kill achievement of its respective boss.

250 Hellion Cores along with 25 Blackstones and 100 Gold can be used to purchase a Khanda Vihar Elemental Prism from Junsorei to upgrade a Faded Raven Accessory into a Skybreak Spire accessory.

The same amount of items but with 25 Silver Scales instead of Blackstones can be used to purchase an Aransu Prism to upgrade a Faded Aransu Necklace into a Temple of Eluvium/Scion’s Keep Necklace.

Forgotten Raven King’s Soul Shield Chest

Hard Mode can drop this chest which contains a random piece of the Skybreak Spire Soul Shield.

Faded Raven Ring:

Hard Mode can drop this ring, and can be traded between players. It can be upgraded along with a Khanda Vihar Elemental Prism sold by Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 250 Hellion Cores, 25 Blackstones, and 100 Gold to upgrade this ring into a Skybreak Spire Ring of the prism’s element.

Merchant of Wonders

Hard difficulty has a chance to spawn the Merchant of Wonders Shin Gihye, who sells 8 items that range from common drops (e.g. Blood Pearls, Silver Scale Fragments) to cosmetics to extremely rare and/or hard to acquire upgrade materials (e.g. Premium Transformation Stones, Sacred Vials, Heptagonal/Octagonal Gems, Divine Grace Stone), often at generous gold prices. Only one item can be bought from her shop, and her wares always randomize with each appearance.

Circle of Sundering

By: Shadovv

Guidance Video by Licod Games

This sacred site within the Ajanara Monastery is where trainees confront their past memories manifested into reality. As you step into this place, a feeling of greed, rage, fear, and goals washes over you… what dark secrets lie within your mind, Cricket?

“Greed” – Yonkai & Goyong:

Goyong HP: 7,480,000

Yonkai HP: 1,040,000

Enrage: 4:00

CC Bars: 1x Each

Goyong Attack Pattern:

5 rapid AoE spins, each hit is blockable.

3 upward swings with pushback on each hit, each hit is blockable.

180 degree frontal cleave inflicting knockback and knockdown, unblockable.

Linear frontal downward cleave, blockable.

Periodically he will say “Face me like a real warrior!” and rush toward you with a shoulder charge, stunning you; this is blockable. If successful, he will grab you, punch you twice, and slam you into the ground.

If you’re too far, he will jump at you creating a blockable AoE slam that stuns.

Yonkai Attack Pattern:

180 degree sword swipe, blockable, inflicts knockdown.

Rolls in a straight line.

Drops a small bomb on the ground that shortly explodes in an unblockable AoE that knocks back.

Rolls away from you and pulls out a giant bomb and throws it at you in an unblockable AoE that knocks back, this is CC’able. If you CC him he will receive the “Incapacitated” debuff for 15 seconds and be dazed for its duration. If you don’t CC him, he will wave a foxtail and heal Goyong by 2% HP per wave over 5 waves.

Fight:

While Goyong is alive, Yonkai has the “Goyong Effect” buff which makes him take 90% less damage from all attacks, making it impossible to defeat him first. Goyong will stay on top of you at all times, while Yonkai will either roll around or harass you with weak but CC-inducing sword slashes and bombs. Yonkai poses little threat, but it is important to CC Yonkai when he pulls out a giant bomb so that he does not try to heal Goyong after.

Once Goyong is eliminated, Yonkai becomes cleansed of Incapacitate or stops whatever he is doing and rushes to the center of the room. A message warns “Yonkai planted an Ultra Bomb. It will explode in 30 sec” and a large bomb will spawn in the center of the room. Yonkai must be swiftly eliminated within 30 seconds before the bomb explodes and causes an unavoidable instant death. Instead of attacking, Yonkai will roll away thrice before cowering and healing himself by 3% every second over 5 seconds. He is CCable as he is planting the bomb and while cowering but does not give him Incapacitate.

“Rage” – Juwol:

If you’re too far, she will do a very fast blockable charge that stuns.

Periodically Juwol will say “Dance for me!” and drop a star-shaped AoE puddle on you, then do a charge stun.

Any time you are stunned she will do a 5-hit rapid combo.

All of Juwol’s attacks inflict the “Ember” debuff which is permanent, on 5 stacks the debuff detonates for significant damage.

Searing Slash (80%/40%):

Juwol will jump to the center of the room, stating “C’mon, hero! Burn!”, then does a linear unblockable instant charge slash that dazes and covers the entire room. As she charges, twelve small unblockable AoE explosions occur in a cross-shape spanning the entire field, rotating on every charge. She will charge shortly after the ground indicators for the explosions appear, with enough delay to avoid by walking perpendicular to the charge. She will do this a total of four (80%) or five (40%) times, after which she will resume normal patterns.

Wide punch, blockable.

Near instantaneous AoE stun vacuum, blockable.

Wide punch.

Shadow Dance behind you.

One of the following:

Slow punch inflicting knockback, blockable.

Raises his elbow. This is a counter, if you hit into it he responds with an instantaneous linear unblockable punch that stuns. If hit by the upward kick, this attack can be avoided by using Retreat (F Roll).

Holds his hands out. This is also a counter into an instantaneous linear unblockable punch that stuns.

If you’re too far, he will do a very fast blockable charge that stuns.

Any time you are stunned he will do a palm attack that applies the “Focus Reduction” debuff that causes you to lose focus over 5 seconds. This attack cannot be blocked or iframed.

Periodically, Dochun will say “Don’t underestimate my power!” before backstepping and performing a 10-hit unblockable charge combo.

Eight Gates (75%/50%/25%):

Dochun says “This won’t be like last time…” before jumping to the center of the room, creating an AoE covering 0-6 meters and slowly expands outwards in rings covering 6-12 meters and 12-24 meters. Each AoE causes aerial and cannot be blocked or iframed; you must physically avoid the attack.

After the second AoE ring, Dochun will say “You can’t run!” and try to get a buff and must be CC’d, failure will grant him a stack of “Open Gate” which increases his damage, on two stacks he will enrage and do an instant kill.

Enrage: 7:00

CC Bars: 1x

Attack Pattern:

Linear punch, shortly after a gust of wind occurs with expanded range and hits 2 meters behind him, aerial on the first hit and knockback on the second, unblockable. The second hit, even if iframed, inflicts the “Deep Scar” debuff which deals 5,500 damage per 2 seconds over 30 seconds and stacks 5 times. This attack can be avoided by running through him, while making sure to stay 3 meters behind.

AoE wind gust, then hits outward in a ring, knockdown on both hits, unblockable.

Linear double sky punch with wind gust, aerial on both hits.

Leaps back into a charging punch and uppercut, the second hit inflicting aerial, blockable.

Holds his hands in front of him. This is a block, if you hit into it he will gain a stack of “Focus Charge”, used to enhance one of his attacks. Does not prompt guard breaks.

One of the following:

100% – 76% / 50% – 0%: Linear stomp with wind gust, significantly wider, knockdown on both hits.

75% – 0%: Two rising AoE kicks, knockback on both hits, blockable.

Periodically, Master Hong will say “Stay present!” and then punch the ground five times in rapid succession, each hit is unblockable, and the last hit causes knockback. Any Focus Charge stacks are consumed to increase the number of hits.

Getting aerialed at any point will make him do an aerial stomp attack and then stomp you into the ground.

If you’re too far, he will do a fast unblockable jump slam that aerials, which then expands into a wider AoE, the second hit inflicts Deep Scar even if iframed.

Special Phase (75%/50%/25%):

Master Hong will jump to the center of the room, then say “Feel, don’t think!” and perform a daze vacuum that cannot be blocked or iframed. He will then put his hands to his side before releasing a linear two-hit unblockable beam that paralyzes on the first hit and knocks backs and Deep Scar on the second hit, then sweep the beam 180 degrees across the entire arena to the same side his hands were facing, the sweep itself does no damage but leaves an instant death field. He will do the beam sweep four times in total, with the first death field disappearing on the third beam and the second on the fourth, before the final one he will do a daze vacuum.

The direction of the beam sweep is always random, but is always indicated by the direction of his hands and can be avoided by moving opposite. For example, if his hands are facing left from your perspective, the attack can be avoided by moving right.

To avoid the first sweep, immediately use Retreat (F Roll) and then Backstep (SS) away from the sweep’s direction, then stay in the midsection so there is enough room to maneuver.

The second sweep is avoided by moving accordingly to the sweep direction. The first death field will vanish as he casts the third beam, so stay near it to give enough room to move. If you are on the wrong side of the sweep, use movement skills to quickly move out before the field spawns.

The fourth and final sweep consists of a daze vacuum, so once again Retreat and Backstep accordingly.

After the final beam sweep, all the death fields will disappear and Master Hong will say “Cricket, act, don’t react!” and attempt an instant kill attack, CC him to stop it.

Corrections by Hæt

As the people of Yurido Village strived to rebuild their homes and their lives, the nearby Amethyst Shore seemed to offer a wide horizon of hope and opportunity-for fishing, for trade, for travel and exploration away from the vicious Volkami. These dreams were quickly dashed along the rocky shore, and with every fishing vessel or ship that pushed out into the waves. Something strong and powerful lived within the deeps, something… that liked to sing.

HP: 80,682,000 (Normal) / 237,300,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 8:00

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

Wide 180 degree frontal sweep, blockable.

Two AoE spins, second hit has larger range and knocks down, both are blockable.

Linear lightning thrust, unblockable and knocks back.

Very fast linear wide frontal knee, blockable and dazes.

One of the following:

Cross lightning slam, unblockable.

Single target uppercut, blockable and inflicts aerial.

Fast linear downward slam, unblockable and knocks down.

All his attacks inflict the “Thunder Spirit” debuff. After two full rotations before reaching a mechanic phase, he will grab the tank which cannot be iframed, and absorb their debuff, and gain a permanent stack of “Enhanced Attack Power” that will increase his damage and stacks up to 10 times.

This boss is stationary; if the tank is too far, he will drop lightning at the three times which does a lot of damage.

Electrified Water (70%/30% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

The boss will jump to one of the four shells at the 12/3/6/9 o’clock positions and flood the entire room with an electrical water except for that shell the boss landed on. Standing on the electrical water applies the “Electric Current” debuff that will instantly kill you on 50 stacks in only Hard, but if you are standing on the safe zone, you will gain the “Safe Zone” buff that prevents you from gaining Electric Current stacks.

The boss will then do two blockable AoE spins with knockdown on the second hit and then grab the tank. He must be 2x CC’d here, or else the tank will take significant damage and then cast 5 unblockable field-wide AoE lightning strikes in Normal, or wipe the party in Hard. Do not Daze Second Wind or Knockback Get-Up.

Afterwards, the boss will jump to the shell at the opposite side of the room; if the boss was CC’d the tank will gain a mobile dome that allows the party to safely traverse the electrified water, although classes with high mobility can reach the boss without accumulating too many stacks. As the party is moving, the boss will be throwing four electric orbs twice, although this will be blocked by the barrier, along with stalagmites falling from the ceiling that will knock down. The boss will then repeat his two blockable AoE knockdown spins and grab the tank.

The boss will jump back to the first shell, and this time he will stomp the ground five times, creating shockwaves that must be jumped over. He will then try to execute his five AoE lightning strikes which must be CC’d. Afterwards, the electrified water will disappear, and the boss will jump back to the middle and resume his attack rotation.

HP: 82,688,000 (Normal) / 243,200,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 8:00

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

Large AoE shoulder drop, blockable and aerials.

Double 180 degree frontal claw swipes, blockable.

Linear frontal ground slam, unblockable and aerials.

Double 180 degree frontal claw swipes.

Linear frontal water breath, unblockable.

(Hard only) Attempts to grab the tank with his mouth, if successful he spits them out in front of him which knocks down, unblockable.

One of the following:

Linear rear tail slam, unblockable.

Linear fin slam on both sides, unblockable.

If the tank is too far, he will jump at them creating an unblockable AoE that aerials.

If the tank gets knocked into the air, he will grab them and piledrive them into the ground.

Bombardier (70%/30% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

A message warns “Hey! Over here!” and a Bombardier, a Yutay carrying a large bomb, will appear in one of the eight crevices. After a moment, it will try to rush the tank, self-destruct in an unblockable AoE which is instant death in Hard Mode, and drop the bomb where it exploded. One person needs to hit the add and lure it away from the party so the bomb is deposited in an isolated corner. The bomb will explode after 25 seconds.

Once the add explodes, a message warns “Bomak unleashes a Primal Attack” and the boss will stop whatever he is doing and unleash a very fast field-wide unblockable AoE roar that stuns. He will do a large AoE shoulder drop, then jump toward the furthest person (should be where the bomb is at) creating an unblockable AoE slam that aerials and piledrives, and shoot five unblockable projectiles that knock back. It is important to iframe the slam and not get piledriven as to not delay the attacks. The AoE slam toward the next farthest person (away from the bomb) and projectiles are repeated again; the bomb should start counting down from 10 to 0 here.

Then, the boss will shoot a small AoE slime at the furthest person (must be where the bomb is at), which does little damage and applies a 3 second root and will disable the bomb. If the bomb explodes, it will do massive damage and heal the boss by 20% of his HP in Normal, or wipe the party in Hard. The boss will then do an unblockable field-wide AoE slam that must be 2x CC’d, else this will wipe the party in Hard, before resuming his attack patterns.

Numok:

HP: 170,714,000 (Normal) / 502,100,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 7:00

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

Double 180 degree frontal swipes, blockable.

Linear frontal tentacle slam, very large range, unblockable and aerials.

Double 180 degree frontal swipes.

Double 280 degree frontal tentacle swipes with a blind spot on the back, then two AoE spins with larger range and knockback on the second hit, all blockable.

180 degree frontal swipe, then two 270 degree room-wide swipes that knocks back on both hits, all unblockable. The 90 degree safe zone behind the boss is determined by which arm the boss uses on the first 180 degree swipe; if he swings with his left arm then the rear right zone is the safe spot, and if he swings with his right arm then the rear left zone is the safe spot.

Linear frontal tentacle slam.

This boss is stationary, although he can be grabbed and moved; if the tank is too far, the boss will try to grab them and drag them underground with his tentacles and slam them next to him.

Ink Poison:

If the boss does three full attack rotations before a mechanic phase, a message warns “Numok is looking for a target to kill” and the boss will mark the farthest person, Phantom Grip them next to him and trap them in a bubble that disables all their actions. He will then squirt ink that covers the entire field but an 8 meter zone around him, then do an unblockable/uniframable field-wide AoE slam that knocks everyone except the marker toward the edges of the room. Standing in the ink zone will apply the “Ink Poison” debuff that instantly kills you on 20 stacks and lasts 20 seconds as well as the “Block Approach Skills” debuff for 1 second. The boss will do another unblockable/uniframable field-wide AoE ink squirt that applies the “Inky View” debuff on everyone, causing black ink to obstruct large parts of their view for 5 seconds.

The boss will then release two field-wide AoE shockwaves that can be jumped over, before doing an unblockable 180 degree cleave at the marker which will do massive damage in Normal or instantly kill them in Hard if not interrupted by 2x CC. The boss will resume his attack rotation, and the Ink Poison zone will disappear after one full rotation.

Ink Globes (80%/40% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

At the start of the phase, the boss will dig his tentacles underground and shoot 6 unblockable AoEs that aerial in random spots five times. He will then jump to the farthest person, creating an unblockable AoE slam, and a message warns “Numok is conjuring an Ink Bubble” where he marks the three farthest people from him and shoot three Ink Bubbles at them in order of farthest to closest marker, leaving a puddle that deals lots of damage. Puddles should ideally be put down in a line toward the 3 o’clock area so that they don’t hinder the party. The tank should ideally get marked for this so there are enough non-markers aid in the mechanic below.

The boss will dash to the middle and do a field-wide shockwave that can be jumped over, then dive underground and become unattackable. The Ink Bubbles left behind by the markers will start traveling while bouncing up and down and bounce back on hitting the wall. During this the boss will appear below the markers one-by-one in order of farthest to closest marker, grab them and chomp them, spit them out, and dive back underground until all the markers have been chomped.

The non-markers (excluding the tank) and the farthest marker after they’ve been chomped must use Block/Counter/Parry/Deflect skills on the Ink Globes to dispel them. If you are hit by the Globe, you will be knocked down and receive Inky View. As the globes are bouncing up and down and not traveling in a straight line, the blockers must be standing in the Globe’s landing zone and use their block just before it lands. The blockers will gain the “Ink Bubble” buff which will permanently trap them in an air bubble and disable all their actions after 10 seconds which is needed for the next part of the mechanic. If any of the markers block the Globes before they are chomped, the Ink Bubble will be removed and do massive damage in Normal Mode or instantly kill them in Hard Mode. The chomp also has a small AoE, so markers need to stay away from others before they’re chomped.

Everyone must then head to the 3 o’clock position before the boss has chomped the final marker. After chomping the final marker, the boss will dash to the center and a message warns “Numok is looking for a target to kill” and mark the closest person (should be the tank), then do a field-wide blockable AoE shout that stuns while absorbing any leftover Ink Globes. If he absorbs any, a message warns “Numok absorbs Ink and grows stronger” and the boss will heal 5% of his max HP and gain a stack of “Enhanced Attack Power” that increases his damage, in Hard Mode he will wipe the party on absorbing two Globes.

The boss will switch his aggro onto the marker and will then be doing double swipes, linear tentacle slams that aerial, and field-wide AoEs that apply Inky View at random, during this the boss will create four 270 degree ink zones that will pop Ink Bubble and do massive damage to them in Normal Mode or instantly kill them in Hard Mode, but does no damage to anyone else, with the safe zone starting at the marker’s position. These zones are directed by the marker, similar to Raven King’s mechanic, and the safe zone will constantly rotate 90 degree counterclockwise. The marker must move 90 degrees clockwise around the boss after each AoE so that the safe zone will stay in place, and has 5 seconds to move before each shift.

After the ink zones, the boss will do a field-wide unblockable/uniframable vacuum, into a field-wide unblockable/uniframable AoE slam that will knock back everyone toward the edges of the room and knock them down or wallbang the edge. The slam will pop Ink Bubble, but no damage is incurred and they will not get knocked back. The boss will then try to create a large ink bubble and absorb it, healing him by 30% of his max HP in Normal or wiping the party in Hard. The people who just had their Ink Bubble removed must 2x CC the boss, if successful he will instead injure himself by 10% of his max HP, and will resume normal patterns.

If the Ink Bubbles are lost, it is still possible to CC the boss:

All classes have the mobility to quickly make it back to the boss from the edge and help CC, using SS, targetless Q/E, and approach skills.

Blade Master’s Winged Protector or Blade Dancer’s Maelstrom can prevent the knockdown/wallbang, skipping over the get-up action and allow the party to rush back to the boss more quickly.

Landmark CCs such as Force Master’s Heatwave and Assassin’s Landmine can be planted before the knockback, and detonated after without the need to rush back to the boss.

Destroyer’s Fury can iframe the knockback.

Self-aerial abilities such as Force Master’s Frost Burst and Gunslinger’s Skystone, when casted between the vacuum and the slam, can also avoid the knockback.

Summoner’s Cats and Warlock’s Thralls are completely unaffected by the knockback.

Ink Globe (Post 40% Normal | Post 30% Hard):

After the final phase, the boss’s rotation is now reduced to swipes and tentacle slams. After some time, he will do his tentacle dig attack, shoot one Ink Globe at the farthest person, and release a shockwave to trigger the globe, then resume his normal attacks.

Some time after spawning three globes, he will release his stun shout while absorbing any leftover globes, then do his vacuum into knockback slam and try to heal.

He will repeat these actions for the remainder of the fight.

Hellion Belt

The final boss has a chance to drop the legendary Hellion Belt. This can be upgraded into the PvP Skybreaker Belt or PvE Horizon Belt. Hard Mode also has an extremely rare chance to drop the Hellion Belt Chest which is a tradeable chest containing the Hellion Belt and uses a key from Cold Storage to open. You can also buy the belt from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 200 Hellion Cores, which also requires the Numok 10-kill achievement.

Hollow’s Heart

Home to the ancient Khabashi, a tree-like race, now tainted by Dark Chi. Those who tried to save their homeland too had become corrupted.

Hollow’s Heart is quite involved, and will require good party coordination and/or communication in order to clear. The mechanics are heavily reliant on a couple of players for each battle.

Boss 1: Brierbane

Normal HP: 72,900,000

Hard HP: 182,300,000

Enrage: 8:00

Normal Mode Phases: 70%, 40%

Hard Mode Phases: 90%, 60%, 30%

Standard Rotation:

Double Claw Swipes → Quadruple Spin (Knockback and Knockdown on last hit) → Frontal Double Uppercut (Launches) → Frontal Downward Cleave in a cone (Unblockable, Knockdown, CCable) → (After first phase) Front + Back and Side Linear Downward Cleave (Unblockable, Knockback and Knockdown, Direction order is random)

If the tank stands too far from the boss, it will jump to them creating an unblockable AoE slam, also creating a fast room-wide shockwave that can be jumped over.

Roles:
Four markers, preferably ranged but any class can do. If not ranged, lowest DPS melee should do it. One Tank, should stay in melee range for the fight.

Notable Attacks

Quadruple Spin(blockable)

The boss will ignite both of its claws with energy and perform a slow spin slice. It will then spin back the other way quickly performing three more slices at a faster pace. Block, iframe, evade, or SS back and wait it out. Do NOT party iframe any of its regular attacks.

Mass Decapitate (Unblockable, Potential CC cancel, Total Party Kill if failed on Hard)

After the boss performs three rotations, it will perform a roaring animation and generate a dark aura underneath itself. This dark aura grants the “Tainted Zone” buff to the boss that grants it immunity to debuffs and CCs, and will continuously damage players if touched.

The boss then jumps to the farthest person, emitting an extremely fast-moving knockdown shockwave when landing, then makes another Tainted Zone. He then charges back towards the first AoE, and his charge must be blocked before he reaches the first AoE but after he leaves the second one.

Afterwards, a message warns “Brierbane prepares a Mass Decapitate attack” and, he will attempt to wipe the party and must be 2x CC’d out of the attack.

If he reached the Tainted Soil, he’ll be immune to CCs and thus will successfully wipe the party on Hard, or will require an iframe on Normal.

Generally, Marker 1 will lure the jump. After 40%, he will jump twice, once to the farthest person, then again to the farthest person from his new position.

Mechanic Phases

In each phase, the boss jumps to the center of the arena, creating an unblockable AoE and shockwave, and a message warns “Brierbane is picking an execution target” and marks the four farthest players, in order from farthest to nearest of the four. On 40% in Normal or every phase in Hard, it will also release two dark balls that travel toward the tank and can be dispelled by blocking; if touched, they apply a root, for marked players all their actions will also be disabled. After that, it will produce Tainted Zone, which will also disable marked players, and follow up with 5 rapid room-wide AoE shockwaves that can be jumped over. If hit, you will be knocked back.

A message then warns “Brierbane prepares to Decapitate the execution target” and the boss does a swipe creating a room-length cone AoE centered on each marker, in order of the marks.

On Normal, this just does high damage and can be iframed, but is an instant kill that ignores iframes on Hard so you need to physically avoid it. The marks need to be spread out at the four corners of the room so that the waves do not kill the party or other marks, and they have time to rotate away from the waves. Use the four shells on the ground near the boss to line up the four marks, and position appropriately according to the image below.

After the fourth cone, any unblocked balls will explode and disable any plear near them, and the boss will attempt to use a room-wide instant kill. However, the Tainted Zone will prevent fast CCs, so wait for it to expire before CCing the boss. After this, the boss will perform a 4-hit knockback AoE wave which must be party protected/iframed. Sheath is the best option.

Boss 2: Gorgana

Normal HP: 78,000,000

Hard HP: 195,000,000

Enrage: 7:00
Phases: 80%, 40%

Boss 2 is the easiest of the three bosses, with fairly straightforward mechanics.

The boss fights very similarly to Dokumo of The Skittering Tunnels.

Mechanic Phases

The boss will jump to the center of the room and zip to the ceiling and become untargetable. A message warns “Gorgana is capturing her prey”, marking the closest person to her. A spider icon will appear above the head of the marker if they’ve done it correctly.

Many spiderlings will spawn who will all chase after the Marker, while the boss spits poison puddles at them. When the spiderlings reach 1 HP, they will stop moving and create a small poisonous AoE explosion. Getting hit by these will apply the “Poisoned” debuff for 30 seconds dealing 1,289 damage per 2 seconds and stacks 20 times.

Meanwhile, spider eggs will spawn at the corners of the map and should be dealt with by other players. One of the eggs, randomly chosen each time, will have a Little Bomb Spider inside it; a message warns “The Little Bomb Spider has awakened” once it has been found. When killed, the Little Bomb Spider drops an orb. The boss will eventually grab the Marker and pull them to the center, then attempt to wrap them up in a web, in Normal they will take massive damage and be released, but in Hard they will instantly die. Whoever picked up the orb then throws it at the boss while the Marker is being wrapped up, which will free the Marker and cause the boss to fall from the ceiling and damage it by 15% of its max HP. Throwing the orb too early will cause nothing to happen.

If the Marker dies before or to the grab, the boss will drop down and produce a room-wide AoE shockwave. In Normal this just does damage and can be iframed and the boss will resume fighting, but in Hard this is a wipe.

Final Boss: Elder Sage Jurupo

Normal HP: 110,480,000

Hard HP: 276,200,000

Enrage: 7:00

Normal Mode Phases: 70%, 30%

Hard Mode Phases: 80%, 55%, 30%

Roles:

Far Vine [needs to be a mobile class with an extremely competent player] (FV),

Near Vine (NV)

Tank

The boss’s attacks all inflict the “Corrosion” debuff, which deals 2,550 damage per 2 seconds over 30 seconds and stacks up to 10 times. At the start of each phase, the boss will detonate all Corrosion debuffs which will damage any players with the debuff for 10,000 damage per stack of Corrosion. Almost everything is unblockable.

Pre-30% Rotation:

Frontal Claw Swipe (semicircle AoE) → Frontal Smash (unblockable 8×16 AoE, knocks back and dazes, CC’able) → Left or Right 180-Degree Stomp (Unblockable, Knockdown) → Left or Right 180-Degree Stomp → Corruption Wave

On a periodic interval, he will cast Dark Chi Spread.

This boss is stationary, although he can be grabbed and moved around; if the tank is too far from the boss, he will leash them in with a vine, hold them in his hand and slam them into the ground next to him and knock everyone away; the leash ignores iframes.

Notable Attacks:

180-Degree Stomp (Unblockable, Knockdown)

The boss will stomp either the left or right of him. The 180-degree stomp covers the entire side of the arena where he stomps, based on the tank’s position. This applies Corrosion even if iframed.

Corruption Wave(Unblockable, Launches)

A wide circular AoE that launches you if it hits, and hits in 3 waves. It erupts extremely far away first, then closer to the boss, then in a small circle around the boss.

Dark Chi Spread (Unblockable)

Periodically, a message warns “Jurupo spreads Dark Chi” and the boss will rapidly spawn tons of small, circular, unblockable explosions. Just avoid the AoEs on the ground, nothing particularly special.

Mechanic Phases

At the start of each phase, the boss will cleanse all debuffs and jump to the middle, creating an unblockable AOE impact. A message warns “Jurupo speads Dark Chi Seeds” and everyone will then receive the “Dark Chi Seed” debuff for 15 seconds; at the end of this duration, the seeds will sprout and turn into the “Vine Root” debuff that roots the player and disable all their actions for 15 seconds and inflict massive damage on expiration. At the same time, 4 green flowers will spawn on top of the shells pictured in the below image. These flowers are reserved for the FV and NV only, nobody else should be standing on the shells at any given time.

After planting the Dark Chi Seeds, the boss will shoot 3 persistent AoEs at the closest person (this person can change between each AoE). Being hit by this or standing in it will deal heavy damage and apply Corrosion stacks. A Summoner’s Cat or Warlock’s Thrall can be targeted by this.

Touching a green flower will root the player. In Normal, one flower will grant “Vine Immunity” and remove the Dark Chi Seed debuff, but in Hard it will instead grant “Vine Thorns” and a second flower is needed to remove Dark Chi Seed and convert into the Vine Immunity. After touching the first flower, SS/root break to touch both of their flowers quickly.

After throwing the three persistent AoEs (5 seconds after the mechanic starts), a message warns “Jurupo drains energy from the Flowers” and the boss will try to absorb the green flowers; if any are left untouched, he will heal 5% of his max HP per flower in Normal, or instantly enrage in Hard.

The FV will take the two flowers on the northern side of the arena, at 10 and 2 o’clock.

The NV will take the two remaining southern flowers at 8 and 4 o’clock. These two players will obtain the Vine Immunity buff.

After the boss tries to absorb the green flowers, the boss will do a Corruption Wave. Then, everyone without the Vine Immunity buff will be immobilized.

After the Corruption Wave, a message warns “Jurupo roars and brings life to the Flowers”, creating purple flowers on the shells. Their positions are random, but always on opposite ends of each other. Nobody should stand on the shells before the purple flowers spawn or they will be prematurely activated and mess up the mechanic.

A message warns “Jurupo infuses the soil with Dark Chi” and the boss will perform an AoE that covers the entire map except a cone shaped area, opposite of the farthest person’s position. In Norma, this AoE just does damage and can be iframed, but is an instant kill that ignores iframes on Hard so you need to physically avoid it.

The FV must position themselves farthest from the boss, in a line behind the purple flowers to direct the cone so that it encompasses the flower farther away from them. The NV should stand close to the boss, with the purple flower behind them, and be ready to SS/move onto the flower. When a player touches the purple flower, it will emit a vacuum pulse that will drag all players onto it, allowing the Vine Immunes to move the party around to prevent them from being killed by the AoE. Anyone without Vine Immunity will have their Vine Root refreshed.

The person who triggered the pull will gain the “Aftereffect” debuff for 10 seconds, instantly killing them if they try to use the flowers in rapid succession. As such, one person cannot use all the flowers on their own.

70% (Normal)/80% (Hard)

The boss will target the FV, creating the cone on the opposite side of the map of the FV. The NV, who should be in this zone, will then step on the flower, pulling the party onto it and into the safe zone.

The FV, having been pulled out of position by this, needs to quickly relocate back towards the boss and wait near the purple flower they were originally standing behind. The boss will then fire off a second instant-kill AoE, with a safe zone at the original location of the FV. The FV then steps on it to pull everyone to safety.

For all phases, after creating the AoEs for each flower, a message warns “Jurupo drains energy from the Flowers” and the boss will AoE pull everyone to the middle while cleansing Vine Root the process and try to absorb leftover purple flowers, healing/enraging just like the green ones, then perform a triple room-wide, unblockable AoE that should be party iframed, after which the rotation returns to normal.

3-Hit AoE (Unblockable, Room-wide; use iframe or sheathe)

55% (Hard Only)

Things get much harder here, and the FV will need to be ready to move quickly. Three shells will hold a purple flower; as a result, there will be three pulls during this phase. The order of tapping flowers for the safe zone is NV->FV->NV, but the FV is still in charge of directing the zones. This means that the FV will need to rapidly reposition after the second pull to the area without a flower, so they should be a class that can relocate quickly, as they have two rapid relocations to make; one immediately after the first pull from the NV to prepare for tapping the flower for the second cone, and immediately after the second pull to reposition for directing the third cone as shown below.

30%

All four shells will now hold a purple flower, resulting a total of four pulls in this phase. The order of tapping flowers for the safe zone is NV->FV->NV->FV, with FV directing the zones like with 55%.

After the final phase, the boss will perform several very dangerous attacks in rotation until he is killed. His new rotation:

Dark Chi Spread → 180-Degree Stomp → 180-Degree Stomp → Dark Chi Soil → 3-Hit AoE

Dark Chi Soil (Unblockable, Instant Kill)

A message warns “Jurupo infuses the soil with Dark Chi” and the boss will create an AoE across the entire field except for a conical slice, similar to the Raven King’s mechanic. In Normal, this AoE just does damage and can be iframed, but is an instant kill that ignores iframes on Hard so you need to physically avoid it.

The starting position is the area opposite of the tank’s current position. The boss will then hold up one hand as the AoE darkens; everyone needs to look at this hand. The safe area will RAPIDLY shift 90 degrees in the direction of the hand that was raised at the start of this attack; if the boss raises his right hand, the safe area will shift right each tick, counterclockwise. It will shift three times, each shift only gives you about 2 seconds to move before the next AoE triggers.

The tank is not immune to this attack; if they stand in it, they will die, and so they’ll need to quickly move behind the boss and then move with the rest of the party.

Rewards:

Quickgrip Gloves

The Quickgrip Gloves are legendary gloves that evolves into the PvE King Gloves. Hard Mode also has an extremely rare chance to drop a Steel Lock Box, a tradeable chest containing these Gloves and uses a key from Cold Storage to open. You can also buy the glove from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 200 Hellion Cores, which also requires the Jurupo 10-kill achievement.

The King Gloves:

Causes all attacks to inflict 650/1,500/2,500/5,000 Additional Damage at Stage 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10 respectively.

Causes all attacks to have a chance to grant the “King” buff for 6 seconds, increasing Critical Damage by 65/150/250/500.

Sandstorm Temple

By: Shadovv

Guidance Video by Licod Games

Rukesh was once a monk of the Ajanara Monastery with endless potential, but soon acquired a thirst for the dark arts and transcended beyond his mortal limits. Ashamed of this travesty, the monks sealed the evil Rukesh and his fanatic followers within the Sandstorm Temple, but over time the seal has waned…

Onubek:

HP: 150,400,000 (Normal) / 470,000,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 9:00

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal quadruple swipes, blockable, 2nd and 4th hits inflict Daze.

Linear sand breath, unblockable.

180 degree frontal double swipes, blockable, 2nd hit inflicts Daze.

Slams the ground, creating an AoE under him which slowly expands outward into rings two times, all unblockable, all inflicting aerial. Getting hit by this even if iframed inflicts the “Singe” debuff for 60 seconds dealing 1,666 damage per two seconds and stacks up to 10 times.

Punches forward, then behind it, then forward again, all linear, unblockable, and causes knockback.

If the tank is too far, the boss will dash grab them, then slam them into the ground and stomp, both creating unblockable AoEs. The grab cannot be iframed.

Sand Trap (80%/30% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

The boss jumps to the center of the room, creating an unblockable AoE slam with knockback, and then releases an expanding shockwave with knockback and can be jumped over. He then pounds the ground eight times, each creating six unblockable AoE eruptions at random spots that inflicts aerial and Singe.

After the ground pounds, a message warns “Onubek tries to catch someone in a Sand Trap” and he will fire a beam at the farthest person, this chains up to two other nearby players and applies “Annihilation” up to three times; getting two stacks of Annihilation is instant death, so everyone should huddle under the boss to share this. The boss will then do a 5-hit field-wide AoE stomp that can be interrupted with 2x CC, otherwise it deals massive damage in Normal or instantly killing in Hard. Afterwards, the boss then does a 2-hit field-wide AoE that applies “Engrave”, the boss will gain the “Hourglass” buff, all players without Annihilation receive “Immobile” and become immobilized but are immune to damage for 25 seconds and on expiration deals massive damage in Normal or instantly killing in Hard, and all players with Annihilation gets converted to “Aftereffect” that lasts for 50 seconds; in subsequent phases if you receive Annihilation while under the effects of Aftereffect you will instantly die (although this is technically impossible to occur).

The boss will then create a either a central AoE and outer ring or a middle ring in a random order, then a field-wide AoE, all unblockable and the rings applies Singe even if iframed to players without Sand Trap. He will do this three times in total, and is CCable on all of these attacks. The boss’s Hourglass buff will disappear during one of these attacks, as soon as this happens players need to apply 2x Knockdown, if you take too long he will regain Hourglass. On successful knockdown without Hourglass, he will then do a get-up attack that removes Immobile and converts everyone’s Engrave into “Self-Defense Chi” for 35 seconds; CCing with Hourglass will cause nothing to happen. After the three attacks, the boss conjures an energy sphere and does a 5-hit ground pound; without Self-Defense Chi it does massive but iframable damage in Normal or wipes the party in Hard. After the fifth pound, he will be damaged by 5% of his max HP and become exhausted for a few seconds.

Destroy All Targets (55% Normal | Post-30% Hard):

The boss jumps to the center of the room, creating an unblockable AoE, and then releases an expanding shockwave. A message warns “Onubek aims to destroy all targets” and the boss performs a field-wide unblockable/uniframable vacuum and then one of two attacks:

Slams the ground four times, creating three rings around him and then an outer ring, all inflict aerial.

Releases four field-wide AoE slams, the final hit does massive but iframable damage in Normal or wipes the party in Hard. Can be interrupted with 2x CC, if the party consists of at least four people who aren’t Assassins, Summoners, and Warlocks you can respond to the vacuum with Second Wind Daze, otherwise Retreat (F Roll).

After these attacks, he will then throw linear unblockable energy waves that leave a damaging field at the two farthest people.

After this, the boss will return to his normal patterns in Normal, or perform the Sand Trap mechanic in Hard.

HP: 197,440,000 (Normal) / 617,000,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 7:00

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal double swipes, blockable.

Double linear ground pound into a 240 degree side swipe inflicting knockback, all blockable, the swipe causes knockback and knockdown. The direction of the sweep is based on the arm used in the second ground pound; for example if he uses his right arm he will swipe to the left. The blindspot of the swipe is located at the front side of the boss near the second ground pound arm.

180 degree frontal double swipes.

300 degree frontal swipe with a blindspot directly behind him, then a linear front and rear push that knockback, all unblockable, all detonate Blood Serpent; Assassin’s/Summoner’s Protection Decoy/Enhanced Seed Shroud can protect against both hits.

Creates a sand fissure in an outer and then inner ring, both unblockable and inflicts aerial. Getting hit by this even if iframed inflicts the “Blood Serpent” debuff for 30 seconds, dealing 760 damage per second and detonating for significant damage when hit by certain AoE attacks and stacks up to 10 times.

Linear uppercut, blockable, inflicts aerial.

If the tank is too far, the boss will perform a 4-hit field-wide unblockable ground pounds, the last hit causes pushback and daze, and all hits detonate Blood Serpent.

Mystic Force (80%/30% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

A message warns “Rukesh creates a Glyph to unlock Mystic Force” and the boss performs a 3-hit field-wide unblockable AoE bursts. The boss then gains the “Unlock Mystic Power” buff as glyphs on the ground illuminate a number of circles:

80% Normal / 90% Hard: 2

30% Normal / 60% Hard: 4

30% Hard: 6

The boss then does his 300 degree frontal swipe and linear front and rear push, and the outer-inner fissures. A message warns “Rukesh searches for a target to Judge” and marks the two farthest people, then performs a 4-hit field-wide unblockable AoE ground pounds with the last hit causing pushback and daze and all hits detonating Blood Serpent, Force Master’s/Destroyer’s Frost Sheath/Iron Plating can reliably iframe this. He will then grab the farthest marker from the start of the marking, immobilize them, and attempts to release a field-wide AoE that that must be interrupted with 2x CC else it does massive damage in Normal or wipes the party in Hard.

Once CC’d, the grabbed marker will receive the “Obsidian Serpent” buff for 1 minute. Receiving Blood Serpent will remove Obsidian Serpent. The boss will then create 10 eruptions, each creating six unblockable AoEs that aerial. Afterwards, a message warns “Rukesh unleashes his Wrath” and he shoots an AoE pulse at the other marked person applying Blood Serpent before attempting to release a field-wide AoE that does massive damage in Normal or wipes the party in Hard. Both markers must now quickly step on different glyph circles; the marker with Obsidian Serpent will create a gray dice and transfer the buff to the boss for 3 seconds, while the marker with Blood Serpent creates a red sphere that travels to the boss for 3 seconds. Once the boss has both Obsidian and Blood Serpents, a message warns “Rukesh is weakened from enacting the Blood Sacrifice” and his attack becomes interrupted, he becomes stunned for 5 seconds, and is damaged by 5% of his max HP. After all circles disappear the boss will also lose his Unlock Mystic Power and resume normal attacks.

In phases with more than 2 circles, the boss will repeat the entire mechanic with a few differences:

The boss does not repeat the 3-hit ground pounds from the start.

Before marking, the boss releases a shockwave that causes knockback and Blood Serpent even if iframed and can be jumped over.

Before the 10 eruptions, the boss does a linear punch that stuns and then linear pull, both unblockable, aimed toward the farthest person, and will do this twice. He will then perform a large unblockable AoE ground pound that aerials and inflicts Blood Serpent even if iframed.

At 30% Hard, the boss will mark the 4 farthest people.

Allseing Gaze (50% Normal | 70%/40% Hard):

A message warns “Rukesh judges with his Allseing Gaze” and the boss creates a dark field in an outer ring around the edges of the field that deals damage and detonates Blood Serpent. The boss will then target each player from farthest to closest with either a pillar that releases a shockwave that causes knockback and Blood Serpent even if iframed and can be jumped over, or a large exploding AoE that causes any nearby pillars to explode. Pillars overlapping with each other or have landed in the dark field will also cause them to explode. An exploding pillar deals massive but iframable damage in Normal or wipes the party in Hard.

Once all players have been attacked, the boss releases a shockwave, also causing each pillar to release their own shockwave. The dark field and pillars will then vanish.

The final boss has a chance to drop the legendary Hellion Bracelet Chest, containing the Hellion Bracelet. This can be upgraded into the Starbreaker or Divinity Bracelet, using an Unrefined Bracelet from Circle of Sundering to determine the path. Unlike other accessories, the Unrefined Bracelet is required even for the Red Dragon Crux upgrade path. There is also an extremely rare chance to drop the Sealed Hellion Bracelet Chest which is a tradeable chest and uses a key from Cold Storage to open.

You can also buy the necklace from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 200 Hellion Cores, which also requires the Rukesh 10-kill achievement.

Both Bracelets have the same stats, with a chance for attacks to increase Boss Attack Power by 2/3/4 and Critical Damage by 1%/2%/3% at Stages 1-3, 4-9, and 10 respectively for 6 seconds and stacks up to 3 times, but with different class-specific effects.

Guidance Video by Jaesung

Guidance Video by Lord Aze

During the Grand Celestial Emperor’s reign, he appointed powerful automatons to continue his authority after his passing. The shield-bearing Templar was one of these automatons.

Corridor:

At the start is a glyph floor panel that grants the “Fire”, “Earth”, or “Wind” glyph buff over your head depending on what is currently lit, with the floor panel changing glyphs every few seconds. Jumping will cycle the buff in the order: Fire -> Earth -> Wind -> Repeat.

Hiding your own character name (under Options -> Name -> Character Name -> Uncheck “Show My Name”) can help better identify the glyphs above your character.

Following the floor panel is an instant death zone. The circle at the start applies a 7 second shield that grants protection from the death zone, and must be refreshed by standing on the circles in the death zone while matching the glyph buff to the displayed circle. Obstacles in the death zone are lasers that just do damage and more glyph floor panels.

At the end of the death zone, there are four locks. Four people (or someone dying/escaping and crossing the death zone again) need to deposit their glyph buff to disable the death zone and open the door to the boss.

The Templar

HP: 230,900,000

Enrage: 6:00

CC Bars: 3x

Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal sweep, blockable.

Linear rectangular thrust into a very fast linear rectangular slam. First hit is unblockable and causes knockback, second hit is blockable and causes knockdown.

Two AoE spins, blockable.

Charges and fires a laser in front of it, leaving a damaging field.

Very fast frontal shield bash into a rear 180 degree sweep, both blockable, both cause knockback.

Shoots 3 AoE missiles at the three farthest people in order from farthest to closest, all unblockable, all cause aerial.

Four frontal linear rectangular thrusts that become wider with each thrust, unblockable, all cause knockback.

Field-wide AoE burst, unblockable, causes knoback, CC’able.

This boss is stationary; if the tank is too far, the boss does an unblockable AoE shield slam that causes knockback.

Glyphs:

At the start of the fight, the boss will look around, then all players will gain the Fire, Earth, or Wind buffs determined randomly. The boss will then do two AoE unblockable stomps that just do damage and can be jumped over.

A minute after giving everyone glyphs, the boss will look around again, and a message warns “The Templar sets Glyphs” and a random person will start uncontrollably floating and have all their abilities disabled. The boss will gain the glyph buff matching that person, and everyone must jump to match that glyph. After 5 seconds, the boss will release a field-wide AoE and anyone who doesn’t have the matching glyph will instantly die and the boss will heal 3% of its max HP per killed person. The floating person will then be harmlessly released.

Immediately after, the boss will look around once more and reset everyone’s glyphs, and the process repeats.

During the Grand Celestial Emperor’s reign, he appointed powerful automatons to continue his authority after his passing. The steed-riding Barrier Keeper was one of these automatons.

Hall Watcher

HP: 65,000,000

Enrage: None

CC Bars: 4x

Has the exact same attacks as the Terracotta Warrior in Tomb of the Exiled and Naryu Labyrinth. The most noteworthy attack is a 5-hit field-wide unblockable ground pound that can be CC’d.

Reinforcement Automatons (70%/30%):

A message warns “Reinforcement Automatons have arrived” and the miniboss will release a field-wide unblockable AoE, getting hit by this will cause you to start uncontrollably floating with all abilities disabled for 10 seconds. At the same time, a large number of adds will spawn to support the miniboss.

HP: 202,700,000

Enrage: 6:00

CC Bars: Immune

Attack Pattern:

Double 180 degree frontal sweeps, blockable.

Rectangular stomp under it into a rectangular stomp in front of it + 3-hit conal dark breath behind it. All hits are blockable, the first stomps causes knockback and daze and the second causes aerial, both stomps cause root, the dark breath causes 100% focus loss.

Slams its staff into the ground creating an AoE under it, shortly followed by an outer ring, then releases a shockwave around it. All unblockable, the AoE rings cause knockdown, and the shockwave causes knockback and can be jumped over.

Linear rectangular stomp to the front of its sides into a linear rectangular clap + Conal dark breath to its rear right, directly behind, and rear left. All blockable, the stomp and clap causes stun, the dark breath causes 100% focus loss.

Fires an AoE blast at the farthest person, inflicts aerial, blockable.

Conal stomp to its front left, front right, rear left, and rear right, all blockable.

Barrier:

Periodically a message warns “The Barrier Keeper summons Binding Barriers” and four cylinders appear at 2, 4, 6, and 8 o’clock positions on the squares near the edge of the room. Sometime after, a message warns “The Barrier Keeper summons Destructive Barriers” and four cubes appear at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions on the circles in the midsection. When the cylinders or cubes are created, the boss releases three blockable field-wide rapid AoEs.

Touching the cube applies a 10 second “Soul Sacrifice” buff that must be carried over to the cylinder. On entering the cylinder, the carrier will then receive “Restrain” and be dazed which can be broken out of using Retreat or Second Wind, and the cylinder will release a blockable pulse that aerials and then an unblockable explosion that instantly kills anyone hit by it and be destroyed.

Failure to remove the cylinders and cubes will cause them to release a field-wide explosion that does massive damage and 100% focus loss respectively, while granting the boss a stack of “Barrier Absorption” that lasts until a cylinder is destroyed in subsequent phases, on 4 stacks the boss will enrage and wipe the raid.

After Admiral Chul Mugo went rogue and undergone a quest for power, his right-hand man Dokgom discovered this Naryu vault housing an ancient weapon known as the “Emperor’s Sword”, only to be possessed by it. Prevent the weapon from escaping before it falls into Chul Mugo’s hands.

HP: 89,760,000 (Normal) / 264,000,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 7:20

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal double swipe, blockable.

AoE stomp, unblockable, causes stun.

Twirls its axe in front of it five times over a wide area. This doubles as a parry, if you hit into it you will get deflected and stunned. Has a blindspot behind him.

(After first phase) Triple large AoE spin, blockable, causes knockback

Thrusts its axe forward causing knockback, slams its axe behind it causing knockdown, and uppercuts its axe in front of it causing aerial, all linear and unblockable. The first thrust is randomly aimed in front or behind it.

Slams its axe into the ground releasing linear energy waves in a cross-shape, unblockable and causes knockback.

All of Vahad’s axe attacks inflict the stackable “Scald” debuff for 10 seconds, dealing 802 damage per two seconds.

If the tank is too far, the boss will jump at them, creating a field-wide unblockable slam that knocks back.

Stampede:

If the boss does two full attack rotations before a mechanic phase, he will jump to the center of the room, creating a field-wide unblockable slam that knocks back. A message warns “Vahad conceals himself behind a spectral Stampede” and he will split into six astral projections of himself that rush outward toward 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, 6:00, 8:00, and 10:00 positions along the lines on the ground, knocking back and damaging anyone in their path, while leaving a damaging field in the center of the room.

After reaching the circles on the ground, all the astral projections will create an unblockable AoE explosion that knocks back, with one projection revealed to be the real Vahad. He will then throw eight unblockable axe projectiles at random people that daze, before releasing a field-wide unblockable slam that must be CC’d else it does massive but iframable damage in Normal or wipes the party in Hard. Afterwards he will jump to the tank causing an unblockable slam that knocks down, do a thrust-slam-uppercut, and resume normal patterns.

Security System (70%/40% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

The boss will jump to the center of the room, creating a field-wide unblockable slam that knocks back. A message warns “Vahad starts the Security System” and gains 3 stacks of the “Divine Veil” shield that makes him immune to status effects and CC. He will then daze vacuum everyone which cannot be iframed, and shortly after will mark the three closest players to him with “Annihilation” for 10 seconds where each marker will be connected by a laser and receive 4,800 damage every 0.5 seconds, the non-designated markers must F Roll or Tab Escape so they don’t accidentally get marked. Any unmarked player who stands in the laser will receive constant damage, in Hard this does enough damage to one-hit kill.

Three pillars will spawn, their locations can be viewed on the minimap.

At 70% Normal/90% Hard, pillars will spawn at 12:00, 4:00, and 8:00 positions.

At 60% Hard, pillars will spawn at 2:00, 6:00, and 10:00 positions.

At 40% Normal/30% Hard, the boss will gain 6 stacks of Divine Veil and pillars will spawn at 12:00, 4:00, and 8:00. After some attacks, the boss will mark the three closest players again and more pillars spawn at 2:00, 6:00, and 10:00.

Each marker needs to run over to a pillar, which will take the laser from the marker and grant them “Overload” for 5 seconds. The markers must then transfer Overload to the light-up plates next to the boss in the direction of the pillar, which will remove one stack of the boss’s Divine Veil shield. Failure to remove Annihilation or Overload before they expire inflicts massive damage.

The boss will throw spinning axes at each pillar which will move back and forth from the boss to the pillars multiple times and cause knockdown in Hard, throw 5 second Time Bombs at the farthest people which on detonation creates a 16 meter unblockable AoE that causes aerial to its user and knockback to others, and a thrust-slam-uppercut. Afterwards he will then try to do a field-wide unblockable slam that must be CC’d else it does massive but iframable damage in Normal or wipes the party in Hard. Afterward, the boss will do five consecutive field-wide slams, before resuming his normal attacks.

Amara:

HP: 260,236,000 (Normal) / 765,400,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 7:00

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal double swipe, blockable.

Three AoE spins, last hit causes knockback, all blockable.

A message warns “Amara puts a Brand on the Sacrifice” and marks the farthest person with “Brand” for 10 seconds, where they will be aggro’d by the boss for its duration. A person who has not attacked Amara can also get Branded. If the Branded dies in Hard, the party will wipe.

Linear downward cleave, causes knockdown, unblockable. He will do this three times in a row. Brand should expire after the final cleave.

Leaps up and spins creating linear unblockable slashes covering the front and back while rotating toward a random direction two times with each turn creating the same slashes, forming an <s>“X”</s>, causes daze on each hit.

All of Amara’s attacks inflict a Bleed debuff that deals 1,814 damage per 2 seconds over 30 seconds and stacks up to 5 times.

If the tank stands 11 meters or farther, the boss will jump to them and create a field-wide unblockable slam that stuns. This includes the Branded, so it is crucial for the entire party to be standing 10 meters or less.

Blade Barrage:

If the boss does two full attack rotations before a mechanic phase, a message warns “Amara readies a Blade Barrage”. The boss will quickly do 5 rapid unblockable sword spins.

After this, he will teleport to each player, in order of closest to farthest, doing an unblockable AoE shoulder tackle on each person causing aerial. On the final person, he will attempt a large unblockable conal slash that must be CC’d, else anyone hit by it will instantly die.

Unstable (80%/40% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

A message warns “Amara becomes Unstable” and the boss will jump to the farthest player and slam his sword, creating an unblockable AoE slam that knocks down, release a field-wide shockwave that can be jumped over, and leave a field on the ground. He will do this three times, changing targets to the next farthest person with each jump. If the fields overlap with each other, they will explode and do massive damage in Normal or wipe the party in Hard.

The boss will then jump to the square at the opposite side of the room at 12:00 or 6:00, creating a field-wide unblockable slam. A message warns “Amara chooses a target” and the boss gives everyone 3 stacks of the “Mental Ignition” debuff for 1 minute which on expiration deals massive damage in Normal and instantly killing on Hard, before releasing five consecutive field-wide unblockable spins. Three people must head toward the fields from the earlier slams to be sent into Soul Separation, if all 3 fields are not interacted within 20 seconds, they will explode and wipe the party in both Normal and Hard.

A message warns “The Fissure expands” and inside Soul Separation is Dokgom’s Spirit who has 5,984,000 Normal HP / 17,600,000 Hard HP and uses Kung Fu Master attacks and appears at the opposite side of the room of Amara. Meanwhile, Amara will perform linear unblockable energy waves and blockable spins. The players in Soul Separation must reduce Dokgom‘s HP to 50% before Amara prepares a field-wide AoE that wipes the party in both Normal and Hard. Once Dokgom’s HP reaches 50%, a message warns “Dokgom overtakes Amara” and Amara will stop whatever he is doing while Dokgom becomes immune to further damage and both then attempts a field-wide AoE that must be CC’d on Dokgom’s side else the party will receive massive damage in Normal or wipe in Hard. The people in Soul Separation are free to attack Amara after this.

Afterwards, a message warns “Amara and Dokgom are linked” and both Amara and Dokgom will cast large 180 degree unblockable slashes twice, first sweep aimed toward Dokgom’s tank, and then quickly sweep again at the opposite side, so stay close to the boss and walk through them to avoid this. Getting hit by this does massive but iframable damage in Normal, while instantly killing in Hard. The second sweep will release a field behind the bosses that cleanses 1 stack of Mental Ignition, once all stacks are removed the debuff changes to the “Purified Consciousness” buff.

After doing the sweeps thrice, a message warns “Amara breaks free from the link” and Amara drops a sword on Dokgom which will instantly kill him, before daze vacuuming everyone near him and ejecting people out of Soul Separation, then a message warns “Amara has absorbed Pure Energy and is severely damaged” and absorbs everyone’s Purified Consciousness, in Normal this damages him by 5% of his max HP per person up to 30%, in Hard this damages him by 3% per up to 18%.

At 40% Normal/30% Hard after the 180 degree slashes, instead of immediately daze vacuuming and being damaged, a message warns “Amara and Dokgom are becoming one”. Exactly four players, two from the real world and two in Soul Separation, must stand in a straight line from Amara to Dokgom, positioned 6 meters apart from each other; the remaining two players must move far away from the line. Amara will display a radius around it before shooting lightning which will conduct between each player to Dokgom, instantly killing him, failure will cause a party wipe in Hard; in Normal the party has three chances to succeed this, while Hard has two chances. If successful, a message warns “Dokgom is unconscious. Amara weakens” before daze vacuuming and receiving damage.

Rewards:

Hellion Necklace

The final boss has a chance to drop the legendary Hellion Necklace. This can be upgraded into the PvP Skysunder Necklace or PvE Elevation Necklace. Hard Mode also has an extremely rare chance to drop the Hellion Necklace Chest which is a tradeable chest containing the Hellion Necklace and uses a key from Cold Storage to open. You can also buy the necklace from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 200 Hellion Cores, which also requires the Amara 10-kill achievement.

The final boss also has a chance to drop the legendary Imperial Mark. This can be traded to the merchant Yoola at the Emperor’s Tomb in Solak along with 20 Sea Glass for a Heptagonal Obsidian Gem.

Sea Glass & Blood Pearl

Many of these are needed to upgrade the Exalted/Storm Dragon weapon. Sea Glass is also used to purchase a Heptagonal Obsidian from Yoola at the Emperor’s Tomb in Solak along with an Imperial’s Mark from Ransacked Treasury. Blood Pearl is also used to upgrade the Dragon/Tiger Soul.

Silver Scale

Similar to Blackstones, Silver Scales are used to upgrade the Aransu Weapon Stage 6-9, Hellion Belt, Necklace, and Bracelet, and Imperial Ring, as well as using 25 to buy an Aransu Elemental Prism from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns along with 250 Hellion Cores and 100 Gold to upgrade a Faded Aransu Necklace into a Temple of Eluvium/Scion’s Keep Necklace.
