The Shadowmoor

Guidance Video (Mookwan) by Jaesung

Long before the Blackram Pirates existed were the Black Blood Pirates. Led by Captain Mookwan, these pirates sailed the seas across the Shadowmoor, a grand ship said to have never been outpaced by any other ship and its crew never defeated in open water. The crew eventually met their untimely end by the Stratus Empire, until they struck a deal with devilish seas that binds their souls: to rise from their watery graves in exchange for a thousand ships to take their place in the dark abyss.

Gubira:

HP: 224,480,000 (Normal) / 764,000,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 9:00

CC Bars: 2x

When engaged, a message warns “A Sea Shroud permeates the area” and the edges of the field illuminate with a border. Getting knocked into this border will cause instant death.

Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal double swipes, blockable.

Side linear ice waves into front + back linear ice waves, all unblockable, all cause aerial in Hard.

160 degree rear double tail swipes, both unblockable, both cause knockback.

Linear frontal ice wave, unblockable, causes knockdown, CCable.

180 degree frontal tail swipe into 180 degree rear tail swipe into AoE spin, all blockable, last hit causes knockback.

If the boss is knocked down, he will do a get-up stomp and do a linear charge toward the closest person.

Periodically the boss will mark the closest person with “Prey” and do a linear charge toward them, then aim a conal unblockable breath at them.

Quartz (70%/30% Normal | 90%/60%/30% Hard):

The boss jumps to the center of the room, creating an unblockable AoE slam on landing. A message warns “Gubira creates Quartz” and two light circles illuminate at 12, 4, and 8 o’clock positions determined randomly and three quartz appears at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. At the same time, the boss gains the “Quartz Resonance” buff and proceeds to do an unblockable/uniframable vacuum and pull everyone to him; in Normal this has a range of 8 meters, but in Hard it pulls the entire room. Three people must immediately Retreat (F Roll) the vacuum and run toward the crystals. Two of them are fake and will disappear, while the real crystal will warn “Quartz emits light and creates Ripples” and create a shockwave that inflicts Root in Hard and that can be jumped over, all three players will gain the “Quartz” buff.

The boss will drop icicles around him and do his cross ice wave attack. Afterwards, a message warns “Gubira is searching for prey” and the boss will target the closest person other than the tank with “Prey” and and perform a charge. The boss must be lured into the illuminated circle to cleanse one stack of Quartz Resonance, and the direction of the charge is based on the boss’s animation:

If the boss stands on his hind legs and lifts his head upward, he will charge forward.

(Hard Only) After the first phase, if the boss swings his head to the side, he will charge backward.

If the boss charges into a Quartz or the Sea Shroud, the party will wipe.

After the first charge, the boss will perform the cross ice waves, the frontal ice wave, and the front, back, full tail spins before doing another charge that must be aimed in the center of the room. He will repeat this sequence once more, and this charge must be aimed at the final illuminated point. Make sure the last charge ends at the circle near the Quartz. Once all stacks are removed, a message warns “Gubira’s Quartz Resonance has been offset.”

After the final charge, the boss will spit a conal breath at the Prey before doing a field-wide unblockable AoE that must be iframed. He will then grab and pull in the Real Quartz player, then do a conducting line from that person. All Quartz players must be between the boss and the Quartz, with the Fake Quartz players standing 6 meters apart from each other in a line. If conducting to the Quartz is successful and all stacks of Quartz Resonance have been removed prior, the boss will be injured by 10% of his max HP and the quartz will create a protective field. A message warns “Gubira explodes Quartz Energy” and everyone must rush behind the field before the boss releases a field-wide AoE that does massive but iframable damage in Normal, or instantly killing in Hard.

At 30% Hard, the boss will gain 3 stacks of Quartz Resonance and all three circles will illuminate. In order to remove all three, performing 2x Knockdown on the frontal ice wave will force the boss to do a get-up attack and the charge.

Mookwan:

HP: 284,490,000 (Normal) / 981,000,000 (Hard)

Enrage: 10:00

CC Bars: 2x

Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal double swipes, blockable.

Front + Back linear slams into side + 45 degree rear linear tentacle slams, all unblockable, all cause knockdown.

AoE stomp, unblockable

180 degree frontal double swipes.

Slams the ground thrice creating an AoE under him which expands outward into rings two times, all unblockable. In Normal this causes knockdown, while in Hard this causes aerial.

Linear frontal punch, blockable, causes knockback in Hard.

All of the boss’s unblockable attacks inflict a debuff which deals 992 damage per 2 seconds over 30 seconds.

If the tank is too far, he will grab them and slam them into the ground, creating an unblockable AoE that knocks down.

Periodically he will jump to the farthest person, creating an AoE and two outward expanding rings on landing. He will then grab the next farthest person and hurl them across the room; they must be saved by CCing the boss.

Curse (80%/40% Normal | 90%/65%/40% Hard):

The boss jumps to the center of the room, creating an AoE and two outward expanding rings on landing. A message warns “Captain Mookwan selects a target to Curse” and he will mark the farthest person from him with “Curse” and a black puddle spawns near him at 2, 4, 8, or 10 o’clock positions determined randomly. If the Curse marker ever dies at any point in the mechanic, the party receives massive but iframable damage in Normal, or wipes in Hard. He will do an iframable vacuum and a stomp, then create a 180 degree black water field in the direction of the marker. The marker must lure the field at the 12, 3, 6 or 9 o’clock position, away from the puddle; if the field touches the puddle, the party receives massive but iframable damage in Normal, or wipes in Hard. If anyone other than the Curse marker steps into the field, they will instantly die.

A message warns “Captain Mookwan conjures a Tentacle” The boss spawns additional black puddles on the furthest person (must not be the one with Curse). At 80% Normal/90% Hard there will be one extra puddle, and at 40% Normal/65% and 40% Hard there are two extra puddles. The puddles should be placed parallel to the black water field. If the puddles overlap with each other, the party receives massive but iframable damage in Normal, or wipes in Hard. After the puddle spawns, tentacles will sprout and do a linear unblockable slam causing knockdown toward their planter. Meanwhile, the Curse marker and one other person heads to the border of the black water field where the first puddle is located and stand within close proximity of each other.

The boss will then shoot 6 missiles into the sky that fall toward each person in the order of closest to farthest, however they aren’t very fast and can be avoided by just walking, then fire “Disintegration” at the Cursed. One other person must stand within 3 meters, right next to the border, to share this, otherwise the Curse marker will instantly die. This will create a 10 second line between the two and transfer the Curse mark to their partner outside of the black water field, but Disintegration will prevent the original Curse mark from dying. Both players must travel together to cut the tentacles using the line; the original Curse marker will walk toward the boss while still in the black water field, and their line partner will walk around the tentacles. At the same time, the boss will do a linear punch at the tank and shoot “Cursed Soul” at the farthest person (the Disintegration partner).

After all tentacles are cut and the partner receives Cursed Soul, either Disintegration player must Backstep (SS) away from the boss, breaking the line and causing both players to switch places, if the partner does not have Cursed Soul when this is attempted they will instantly die to the black water field. The original Curse mark will be moved out of the black water field and their partner’s Cursed Soul will be transferred to them for 20 seconds, allowing them to remove the leftover black puddles but will instantly die if they receive Disintegration again. Their partner, the new Curse mark, will be placed into the black water field, and the boss will target them with two front + back slams and another 180 degree black water field.

The boss will then grab the new Curse mark and try to hurl them across the room, which must be CC’d. Afterwards, he will shoot Disintegration again at the new Curse mark which must be shared by anyone other than the previous Curse mark else the new Curse will die, perform with three black water rings that move from outward to inward while causing the half-circle black water field to vanish, and do 5 rapid field-wide ground pounds.

At 40% Hard, instead of grabbing the new Curse mark the boss will create a second set of black tentacle puddles on the farthest person (the original Curse marker) and repeat the mechanic from there.

Rewards:

Imperial Ring:

The final boss has a chance to drop the legendary Imperial Ring. This can be upgraded into the PvP Wrathbringer Ring or PvE Myth Ring. There is also an extremely rare chance to drop the Sealed Pirate King’s Chest which is a tradeable chest containing the ring and uses a key from Cold Storage to open.

You can also buy the ring from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 250 Imperial Cores, which also requires the Mookwan 100-kill achievement.

Many of these are needed to upgrade the Exalted/Storm Dragon weapon. Many of these are needed to upgrade the Exalted/Storm Dragon weapon. Sea Glass is also used to purchase a Heptagonal Obsidian from Yoola at the Emperor’s Tomb in Solak along with an Imperial’s Mark from Ransacked Treasury. Blood Pearl is also used to upgrade the Dragon/Tiger Soul.

Silver Scale

The final boss drops a chest containing this item. On Normal, the chest contains 1 with a chance for an additional 5; on Hard the chest contains 2 with a chance for an additional 10.

250 Imperial Cores can be traded to Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns. The accessory also requires having the 100-kill achievement of its respective boss.

Merchant of Wonders

Hard difficulty has a chance to spawn the Merchant of Wonders Shin Gihye, who sells 8 items that range from common drops (e.g. Blood Pearls, Silver Scale Fragments) to cosmetics to extremely rare and/or hard to acquire upgrade materials (e.g. Premium Transformation Stones, Sacred Vials, Heptagonal/Octagonal Gems, Divine Grace Stone), often at generous gold prices. Only one item can be bought from her shop, and her wares always randomize with each appearance.

Naryu Sanctum

By: Litewarior

Corrections by Shadovv

Deep within the Celestial Basin lies an ancient place of Naryu worship, until a powerful automaton named Xanos claimed it as his domain. Treasure hunters seek to excavate the Sanctum, oblivious to the dangers of Xanos’s forgotten empire. Tread carefully, for Xanos’s watchful eyes may judge unfortunate souls to be sacrificed to the darkness, while avoiding being completely purified by his blinding light.

Beginning

You will start on a pathway that leads to a room with statues and a sentinel in the center. When someone jumps down, the sentinel will awaken and wake up all the statues before vanishing, which will aggro on the person who woke up the sentinel. Stand near an archer statue to pull all the melee statues to one spot, and aoe them down before finishing off the archers.

Killing all the statues opens the door to the next room. There will be 2 archer statues, jump and glide over them to avoid aggroing them. There will be another room with 4 statues, kill those statues to open the door to the first boss.

Granite Titan

HP: 67,200,000

Enrage: 7:30

CC: 2x

Granite Titan will be standing in the center of the room, and will be untargetable until someone moves closes enough to aggro him (8m).

Basic Attack Pattern:

3x Straight Punch, blockable, dazes on each hit

Frontal 180 degree jump shoulder, unblockable, knocks back.

AoE Slam, unblockable, launches.

3x straight

5-hit Spin, blockable and CC’able, knocks back on the last hit

If the tank is too far, Granite Titan will teleport to them, producing an unblockable AoE that aerials.

Special Attack Phase (70%/30%):

When Granite Titan reaches one of these thresholds, he will throw a large linear AoE unblockable hammer at the tank which causes knockback.

Afterwards, a message warns “Granite Titan uses Fiery Punch” and he will target the closest person to him, and do three blockable punches to the closest people. This punch deals damage and dazes.

After he does 3 punches, a message warns “Granite Titan uses Unleashed Fiery Punch”, and he will target the farthest person, travel to them and punch the 5 closest people including the target after travelling to them.

Granite Titan then teleports to the middle of the room, doing an unblockable stomp that launches and damages anyone who happens to be there. A message warns “Naryu Guards are created” and he will spawn soldiers at the 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00 positions, each with 2x CC. Granite Titan will then grab one of them at random, drain the energy from it and throw it away from him, gaining an invulnerable shield in the process, and the other three soldiers will aggro onto the tank. He will throw 5 hammers at the farthest person before blowing up the statue he threw. In order for his invulnerability to be removed, you must use the rest of the soldiers to create a chain reaction explosion to blow him up.

When he throws the soldier, you will see a red circle around that soldier. When you bring the other stone soldiers down to 50% of their HP, they will kneel down, stop attacking and moving, become invulnerable and gain a red circle of their own. When he blows up the soldier he threw, it will also blow up any other soldiers in the red circle, which will blow up any soldiers in that red circle, which can blow up Granite Titan.

You want one person to aggro/grab a soldier and have tank to draw the other two soldiers, and move those two groups of soldiers in a way that the explosion circles can chain to the boss, while the farthest person moves left and right opposite from the thrown soldier to keep the hammers away from the soldiers and the rest of the party.

If done correctly, he will blow up the farthest soldier, and the explosion will chain between soldiers until it hits Granite Titan. The explosion will remove his invulnerability, deal 10% of his maximum HP, and daze him for a couple seconds. Once the CC is over, he will do an AoE slam around him that will damage and aerial, followed by a field-wide AoE explosion that should be iframed to prevent damage, finishing his special attack rotation.

Failing to properly blow him up will simply cause him to retain his shield until the AoE explosion.

Giant Naryu Augerite

HP: 15,950,000

Enrage: None

CC: 2x

This miniboss has a basic Augerite attack pattern, but until 50% HP, periodically a message warns “Giant Naryu Augerite is creating waves of power ripples”, and it will jump in the air and when it lands, a circular wave will come out from it damaging and knocking back everyone who does not jump over it or iframe it. After 50% HP, the power ripple will become a series of 5 waves, the fifth of which is slightly delayed.

At 50%/30%/10% a message warns “The Giant Naryu Augerite absorbs its underlings”. A number of small augerites (1 at 50%, 2 at 30%, 4 at 10%) will appear around it in random locations, and if not quickly 2x CC’d, will heal the giant augerite by 10% of its health per add. As the miniboss doesn’t have an enrage, failing to CC here just makes the fight longer.

Once the miniboss is dead, the path to the second boss will open up. Look for the glowing footsteps on the pillar in the path, and run up the pillar until you reach the ledge. If you’re stuck in combat, you can walk up the tree going around the room.

Agoni

HP: 109,150,000

Enrage: 7:00

CC: 2x

While this boss’s HP and enrage time might seem daunting, it is actually the easiest boss, as it deals an enormous amount of damage to itself with mechanics. You will likely see very little of its basic attack pattern, as it should just chain its special attack pattern constantly.

Basic Attack Pattern:

Two forward swipes + one back swipe, all blockable, the back swipe knocks down

Forward lightning breath, unblockable, stuns

AoE explosion, unblockable, stuns, CCable

All of Agoni’s attacks inflict the stackable Lightning Dragon debuff which reduces movement speed and stacks up to 10 times, lasts for 30 seconds.

If the tank is too far, Agoni fires a series of unblockable scattered beams at them. He will then jump in place, knocking back anyone around him which is blockable, before doing an unblockable stomp at the tank.

After some time, Agoni will do a different pattern:

AoE slam, unblockable, knocks back.

Shoots 3 lightning AoE puddles at the 3 farthest people.

Field-wide AoE lightning explosion, detonates Lightning Dragon stacks for massive damage, unblockable.

Special Attack Pattern (70%/30%)

When Agoni reaches these thresholds, he will jump to the center of the arena, knocking back everyone he lands on. Twelve lightning rods will spawn around the arena, and one person should stand slightly behind and to the right of one of the rods.

Agoni will fire two scattered laser beams at the farthest person, iframe these if possible.

He will then fire a lightning beam at the farthest person, which will bounce to the closest lightning rod to the marker and then to 3 more adjacent lightning rods, followed up by him doing a small blockable jump (knocking down people around him) and jumping on top of the farthest person. He will do this a total of 3 times, and on the third time instead of jumping to the farthest person, he will charge at the tank, who should block the charge.

When the lightning rods get electrocuted, they can be picked up and thrown at Agoni. Throwing them deals 3 million damage and applies a 20 second Goldtalon stack to Agoni. Blocking the charge at the end will cause all of the electrocution stacks to detonate, which does about 0.5% of his max HP per stack, cleanses Lightning Dragon stacks, heals everyone around him, and he will be knocked down for a couple seconds (can be grabbed). After recovering he will do a roomwide AoE which should be iframed, and his special attack rotation will be finished.

Naryu Guardian Archer

HP: 7,755,000

Enrage: None

CC: 2x

Before the final boss there is a room with one archer statue in the center, and six other statues on the walls. Burst it down as fast as possible, as the other statues will wake up and aggro onto the tank. The archer will fire unblockable linear AoEs that knockback and time bombs that knockup and damage people. You should either have another person aggro and tank the statues (hit them as they wake up), or burst down the main statue extremely quickly.

Xanos

HP: 57,650,000

Enrage: 5:50

CC: 2x

Xanos has the lowest HP of all of the bosses, but no self damaging mechanics.

Basic Attack Pattern:

180 degree frontal Double Arm Swipe, blockable, applies Darkness.

Criss-Cross Slams: Creates a pair of dark lines to his sides as well as front and back, in a random order, applies Darkness.

Light Circles: Creates a circle of light hitting 0-8m, then 8-14m, then 0-8m again, each circle will knock up, all unblockable.

Laser Beam: Shoots a light laser beam in front and behind him, unblockable, causes knockback.

Frontal Slam: Does a frontal slam in a rectangle, applying Darkness. Blockable and CCable.

All of Xanos’s hand or dark-based attacks apply the Darkness debuff, which does roughly 500 damage per two seconds over 30 seconds and stacks up to 25 times.

If the tank is too far, Xanos will teleport to them, performing a small unblockable AoE that causes knockback.

If Xanos is knocked down, a message warns “Xanos emits a Blinding Light” and he will rise back up and create a giant flash of light. If you are facing Xanos when he does this, you will be stunned, blinded, deafened, and take damage. This get-up attack, if not iframed, grants the “Blessing of Light” buff which cleanses and immunizes Darkness for 5 seconds.

After some time:

Xanos will teleport to the farthest person from him, doing an unblockable knockback on landing.

He will then spawn 6 unblockable dark pits around him after a delay, then far from him, applying daze and a darkness stack.

Finally, he will spin around and fire 6 blockable projectiles at the party, in order of who hit him, looping back to the start if there are less than 6 people.

Light/Dark Phase (80%/50%/20%):

At these HP thresholds, Xanos will start his special attack rotation. He will teleport to the center of the room and knock back anyone there.

The center of the room around Xanos (10 meter radius circle) will be lit up, and the rest of the room will be in darkness, everyone must move into the light zone near Xanos. If you stand in the dark area you will receive the “Darkness Prison” debuff, immobilizing you and any attack received will cause you to instantly die.

A few seconds after creating the light/dark zones, Xanos will stop spinning for a moment and cause a large light explosion that should be protected with a party iframe, this will not blind but will do a significant amount of damage. After the explosion, the disc on his back will circle around him and dark pits will appear in lines around him, and he will heal 2% of his health every time the wheel circles around him, CC him to stop his regeneration.

Once the CC is over, the light/dark zones will disappear, he will do 5 rapid AoE light bursts which do a lot of damage, and third hit will knockback. Force Master’s/Destroyer’s Frost Sheath/Iron Plating should be used for this, but personal iframes work as well, and Xanos’s special attack rotation is finished.

Rewards

Divine Beast Bracelet Chest

The final boss can drop the legendary Divine Beast Bracelet Chest, which can be opened into either the Divine Dragon or Tiger Bracelet using an Unrefined Bracelet from Mushin’s Tower Floor 16-20. Hard difficulty has an extremely low chance to drop a tradeable version of the chest.

You can also buy the Chest from Coin Exchange Merchant Junsorei in most towns for 100 Draken Cores.

Both Bracelets have the same stats, but with different class-specific effects.

GIFs by Seaz Master

This fortress is said to be the base of operations of the Ebondrake, where their leader, the Dark Vicar, resides. Judge Juntay, once a Stratus man of justice, succumbed to the Dark Chi and became the twisted Dark Vicar; his daughter Soha storms in and seeks to rescue him from the dark clutches.

Entrance:

There will be a large amount of Ebondrake Shamans and Ice Mines in the path to the lair, run and jump over as many as possible. When you run out of stamina or get hit, pull all the shamans to the staircases and aoe them down to open the door to the first miniboss.

Miniboss: Adepts Myna & Starling

HP (Each): 7,590,000

Enrage: None

CC Bars: 2x

When you enter the room, Myna and Starling will be on a balcony above you, with several Ebondrake below. Two of the Ebondrake will be larger and spam Chi Bombs that deal unblockable heavy damage, kill these quickly then clean up the rest. Once everything is dead, Myna and Starling will teleport down to the ground.

Myna and Starling are both Soul Fighters. Myna starts in ranged stance and Starling starts in melee stance.

When one of them reaches 70%/40% HP, both of them will dash to the center and use Self Defense Chi, hit them 5 times each to remove it. A few seconds after that, they will try to use heals, double CC both of them immediately to prevent the heal.

After the attempted heal, they will each switch stances to the other one.

When one of the Adepts dies, the other one will use Slipping Lotus to resurrect the dead one and heal 40% of their health. Make sure to kill both within a few seconds of each other.

Once they are dead, a dragon pulse will open up. This leads to a descending incinerator corridor with zombies on the bottom, and a lever to the side guarded by a Naga that will activate the incinerator and kill everyone on the bottom, players and enemies alike.

CC Bars: 2x

Roles: Poisoner, Extender 1, Extender 2, Fake Poisoner

Attack Pattern

This boss has attacks similar to Tetralisk Queen from Lair of the Frozen Fang, but with significantly faster attacks.

All of Samisa’s attacks inflict the Samisa Poison debuff, which deals DoT and slow. It can stack up to 10 times and lasts 30 seconds.

1. Double tail slam

Two linear tail slamsl, blockable, doesn’t cc.

Spins multiple times, the last hit causes knockback and knockdown, all hits are blockable.

4. Poison Spray (Unblockable)

Sprays in a 180 degree in front of it, causes knockback and daze, unblockable.

If Samisa does three full attack rotations before the mechanic, she will jump at the farthest person, knocking back anyone hit by the jump. She will then throw a lingering poisonous puddle at the jumped person. Afterwards, she turns back to the tank and a message warns “Samisa screeches” as she releases an extremely fast cone shout with massive range and a very wide angle, also detonating any Samisa Poison stacks for massive damage.

Blood Poison (70%/30%)

When Samisa reaches the HP thresholds, she will jump to the center of the room to begin her mechanic phase (slightly different for each phase), knocking back anyone hit by the jump.

Samisa will start off by grabbing the farthest person, aerial them, and applying Blood Poison to them. The poison lasts 20 seconds, if it expires it will explode and damage the whole party.

She will then shoot 3 poison pools at the poisoner, which they should keep away from the boss. During this the first extender should move away from the boss.

After the three poison pools are fired, she will shoot the “Fang” buff at the farthest person (this should be extender 1), as well as the “Fang Aftereffect” debuff that prevents the person from receiving Fang again for 30 seconds. The poisoner should move directly under the boss at this point. If the poisoner receives this extension buff, Blood Poison will explode and damage the whole party.

When Fang expires, it will create a 3m explosion, if it hits the poisoner the duration of Blood Poison will be refreshed. You must extend the poison successfully or the boss will enrage.

Samisa will jump onto the poisoner, dealing two bursts of damage, one to people within 3m of her, then one to everyone 0-8m away. The first extension will explode here.

She will then jump on the poisoner again, dealing two aoes of damage again, one to people within 3m of her, then one to everyone 8-25m away.

At 30%, she will shoot another extension at the farthest person and repeat the jumps.

After the first (70%) or second (30%) AoE rings, she will curl up and grab the closest person. This needs to be the poisoner. This will transfer the Blood Poison debuff to her, which is 20 seconds long.

As long as Samisa has the Blood Poison debuff, she will curl up and try to purify it. This takes about 5 seconds. She must be chain 2x CC’d for the full 20 seconds, best accomplished with Destroyer/Blade Dancer/Summoner/Kung Fu Master grabs or Blade Master/Blade Dancer aerials. Once her Blood Poison naturally expires, she will get aerialed and take 10% of her max HP in damage.

If Samisa fails to receive Blood Poison from the grab, or successfully purifies herself, she will do 3 field-wide unblockable AoEs. These do significant damage, and should be party i-framed. On the final jump, she will also heal 5% of her health. The boss will then return to her normal attack pattern.

Miniboss: Blighted Harpy

HP: 18,032,000

Enrage: None

CC Bars: Immune

This miniboss is simple, her attacks are similar to the melee attacks of Jinsoyun the Dark Emissary from Heaven’s Mandate. There are a few attacks to watch out for.

Heart Attack

A heart will appear above Blighted Harpy’s head, and she will shoot an unblockable projectile at the top 3 people on her aggro table. If you do not iframe this, you gain the “Temptation” debuff and force you to dance for 10 seconds, which deals damage over time and is inescapable. 2 stacks of this is instant death.

Heart Pull

At 70%/40%, Blighted Harpy will draw everyone in the map towards her and daze them. She will then create a 12m AoE that applies Temptation, you must quickly F roll + SS away. Both of these attacks cannot be iframed. If you are hit by the dance attack while you are already dancing (from Heart Attack), you will instantly die.

The AoE created will linger for a bit, which just deals constant damage.

HP: 79,810,000

Enrage: 7:00

CC Bars: 2x

Roles: Tank, 2-3 Soul Separation, Real World ball blocker.

Attack Pattern:

Every attack inflicts one stack of the “Ebondrake Energy” debuff if not blocked/iframed, this lasts 45 seconds. On five stacks this becomes “Brand” which deals 7,768 damage per second and immobilizes you for 3 seconds.

Swings his arms around him, then does an unblockable spin that damages and knocks back everyone 0-15m away from him.

Far Attack:

If the tank gets too far from the boss, he will throw an unblockable projectile at the tank that knocks them back, then teleport on top of them if they are still too far.

Grab + Slam:

After about 2 attack rotations, Dark Vicar will try to grab the farthest person and slam them onto the ground. The grab and slam will do damage to everyone, so everyone should iframe this. He will then shoot a dark orb at the top three people on the aggro table.

Mechanics Phase (70%/30%):

At these thresholds Dark Vicar will jump to the center of the arena, knocking back anyone standing there. A message warns “The Dark Vicar casts Soul Separation on someone” and he then targets the farthest person with a zap, sending them and up to two additional people close by into Soul Separation.

After the zap, he will resume attacking the tank with his attack pattern radically changing.

Push -> Stab ->2x Slam -> Side Burst -> Stab (-> AOE suction can be CC’d at 30%)

At 30%, the boss will try to pull everyone towards him, this should be CC’d by people on the outside with a stun. Do not knock down or the boss will forcibly eject people out of Soul Separation.

Note: During this phase the boss will not change anything if the tank is too far. If the tank has built enough threat, they can stand at the wall and just hold block to avoid all the attacks.

Soul Separation:

Demonic Energy Shaman: 152,720 HP

When the zapped people go into soul separation, they will gain the “Soul Separation” debuff and the “Demonic Energy Immunity” buff for 1 minute, if the former expires you will die. There will be four shamans holding a ball over their head, one at each of the ordinal directions.

You must kill all four of the shamans ASAP. When they die, a message warns “An incomplete Demonic Energy Bomb rips through time and space and appears” and their ball will drop onto the ground and create a shockwave that can be iframed or jumped over.

When 40 seconds have passed, Dark Vicar will lift everyone without the Demonic Energy Immunity before doing an AoE which will inflict massive damage but remove Soul Separation if it succeeds. He must be knocked down by the people in soul separation. Note that Summoner’s cats will not receive Demonic Energy Immunity and will be unable to CC. Any Shamans that also have not been killed will feed their ball to Dark Vicar, granting him the “Demonic Energy” buff which increases damage and heal 5% of his health, if he absorbs 3 he will heal 25% of his max HP but lose the buff.

Fallen Aransu School

By: Litewarior

Corrections by Shadovv

The Great Thrall that once protected this school has been corrupted and must be purged.

Similar to Dawn of Khanda Vihar, Fallen Aransu School is a 12-man raid with a weekly lockout. It can be reset three times a week in your character menu using an Aransu Reset (from Treasure Trove events) and 10 gold.

Gear requirements: None, dps check is incredibly easy to make and if you die you can just run back.

Miniboss: Daehyun

HP: 14,400,000

Enrage: None

Guardian Spirit:
HP: 1,370,000

When you engage Daehyun, he will have the invulnerable Bastion buff until his two Guardian Spirits are destroyed. His attacks are are the same as the Warlock from Mushin’s Tower Floor 17.

The spirits respawn sometime after they’re killed, and Daehyun regains his invulnerability, repeating the processes.

Vileblood Thrall:

HP: 186,000,000

Enrage: 5:10

CC Bars: 4x

Attack Pattern:

(The attacks are the same as Great Thrall from Temple of Eluvium, so the attack gifs will be from there)

Double Swipe -> Slow Field + Uppercut -> Punishment -> Time Distort -> Slow Field + Uppercut -> Punishment -> Time Distort -> Slow Field + Uppercut

If the tank stands 10 or more meters from the boss, it will do a gesture and the tank will instantly die.

Double Swipe:

Slashes twice with claws, nothing special.

Slow Field + Uppercut

The boss throws a slow field at the tank’s location that severely reduces movement speed to anyone who steps in it. It then does a linear energy wave uppercut, but only does damage with no CC.

Punishment

This pattern is the same as Raven King: the boss will create two rings sequentially, hitting 0-8 meters or hitting 8-25 meters, in a random order. You must physically avoid this attack; getting hit or iframe applies the stackable Bleed damage over time debuff which deals 5,200 damage per 2 seconds for 30 seconds.

Both hands lifted up = Out/In

One arm down one arm up = In/Out

OR

Time Distortion

The boss is 8x CCable, stun/knockdown it or else it will recast Punishment.

If you stun it, then it will just continue its attack pattern.

If you knockdown it, then it will rise up and send everyone facing it into Soul Separation

If you are facing it while you are in soul separation, you will instead be sent out of soul separation.

Mechanics:

When you engage the boss, everyone will gain a 60 second Hellfire debuff.

When this debuff expires you will die. To prevent this, when the boss performs Time Distortion, knock down the boss to send everyone into soul separation. Aggro will be reset on entering soul separation, but if everyone goes in simultaneously the tank should easily regain aggro. Do not look away from the boss or you will not enter soul separation.

When you go into soul separation, you will gain the Perpetuity buff which increases Attack Power by 150 and Critical Damage by 15%, but deals 3,800 damage over time per 2 seconds, the former effect stacks once every 20 seconds while in soul separation and the buff is lost once you exit soul separation. You will also gain the Soul Separation debuff for 80 seconds, when that debuff expires, you will die.

While in soul separation, the Punishment attacks will not hit you so stuns can be ignored, but lines of dark pits will frequently spawn around the boss, dazing and dealing heavy damage.

When the Soul Separation debuff is close to expiring (30 seconds), knock down the boss again to send you out of Soul Separation. You will regain the Hellfire debuff, but also gain the Aftereffect debuff for 30 seconds which kills you if you try to enter soul separation. Stun the next distortion before knocking down again.

CC Pattern:

Easy Strategy: The simplest way to handle this boss is to alternate knockdown/stun. This is the easiest method to understand, but is less optimal for damage.

Advanced Strategy: To make the most of Perpetuity’s damage buff, avoid knockdowns in soul separation for about three times, until your soul separation debuff is at 30 seconds.

Irontech Forge

GIFs by Seaz Master

Hidden beneath the Celestial Basin lies a Soulstone mine and an advanced research center to create bio-mechanical weapons. This workplace was in service of the Talus Dominion until a rebel group known as the Iron Army (Red Automaton Unit) claimed it for themselves. The entire region and beyond is threatened by the Iron Army’s ever-growing arsenal consisting of advanced automatons, soldiers in augmented suits, and cyborgs, all overseen by Chief Mechanizer Yoong who too received powerful augments to become a one-man army.

The Approach:

At the start, glide over the mobs. You will encounter patrolling Alarmotrons, if they get close to you they will wake up turrets that will shoot missiles at you that don’t knockback but deal a lot of damage.

Avoid the patrolling robots and kill everything in your way until the first boss.

Rotation: Staff Slam -> Jump Slam -> Front + Rear Slam -> Spin -> Jab

If the tank stands 9 meters or farther away, Iron Monkey jumps at them, producing an unblockable area of effect slam.

Special Phase 1 (70%/30%):

When reaching these thresholds, he will jump to the center (does no damage), and a message warns “The Iron Monkey is activates the Powertrons” and summon three Powertron robots at the 1:30, 6:00, and 10:30 positions, and shoot lightning at the farthest person, this should be one of the robot killers, and all the other robot killers should be near them. The Powertrons will be trying to give the boss an electric pulse that restores 2% of his health, and will continue to do so until they die.

The lightning will bounce to up to 3 people, giving a stack of “Electric Surge” to each person, increasing their movement speed and letting them do massive additional damage to the robots and the boss. If there is two people, it will bounce back to the initial person, and if there is one person it will just give them three stacks.

Each person with one or two stacks will deal massive additional damage to the robots, but three stacks will transform the electric buff into “Jolt”, where they will not only do any additional damage but also take massive damage when it expires after 30 seconds. Make sure you share the lightning to kill the robots quickly.

After shooting the lightning, the Iron Monkey will beat his chest and roar, doing massive damage to everyone in the room, and is unblockable. A party iframe should be used for this.

After the roar, the Iron Monkey will look around as if he is searching for someone, marking the tank with a 5 second time bomb, and then jumps to the farthest person, knocking down anyone hit by the jump in an unblockable area of effect. This time bomb does minimal damage, but will massively damage anyone with Electric Surge or Jolt.

The tank should stand at the edge of the room, away from any robots to lure the jump. The tank must move away from the boss very quickly after the jump though, so the robot killers don’t get hit by the time bomb.

After the jump, Iron Monkey will grab the farthest person and try to slam them and kick them across the room. This causes aggro drop to whoever is grabbed, make sure this is not the tank. He must be 2x CC’d to stop this.

After the grab, the Iron Monkey will resume his normal attack pattern.

Special Attack 2 (65%/25%):

Iron Monkey will jump to the center again to start special attack 2. He will shoot lightning at the farthest person again, but this time only the main marker should take it in order to get Jolt. This cannot be a Robot Killer as stacking Electric Surge on top of Jolt results in massive damage. He will mark the tank with a time bomb again, before jumping to the farthest person, this should be the main marker.

When he jumps to the farthest person, he will leave a metal pole in the ground. The pole will shortly pulse a 10 meter area of effect that massively anyone with Electric Surge or Jolt. He will then jump to the farthest person from him at that point (secondary marker), and leave a pole in the ground there too. He will repeat this a total of 4 times, with no pole on the final jump. Each pole should be at least 10 meters away from each other; if they stack on top of each other, they will explode and cause massive damage to the whole party.

After 4 jumps (last jump should be on the secondary marker), the Iron Monkey will grab the farthest person from him (should be main marker) and try to electrocute them. If they have Jolt, the debuff will be removed and inflict 12% HP damage to Iron Monkey and daze him for a few seconds. If they do not have Jolt, the grabbed person will die.

Enrage: 3:30

CC: 2x

Suguri fights identically to Iron Juggernaut of Desolate Tomb. 50% HP, a message warns “Entering Alert”, and he will dash to the middle of the room, become invulnerable, and summon two Guardotrons and two Mendotrons which will attack players and heal the boss respectively at the 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00 positions. Kill these robots fast, starting with recovery to prevent healing, and he will drop down and become vulnerable again.
HP: 78,570,000

Enrage: 11:10

CC: 2x

Attacks:

Jabs: Two short jabs, then a 180 degree swipe with his right arm. All blockable, doesn’t cc.

Spin: Swipes in front with left arm, then spins damaging everyone within 8 meter, then spins again damaging and knocking back everyone within 15 meter. Each hit is blockable and doesn’t cc.

Uppercut: Dashes behind the tank, then spins his arm and does an uppercut hitting 8m away, dealing massive damage and knocking up. Cannot be blocked.

Double Punch: Yoong rears back, then does a massive punch towards the tank, followed by one behind him, dealing massive damage and knocking back anyone hit. Unblockable. Getting knocked back by this attack can mess up the marking, so make sure to block or iframe the last hit.

Yoong doesn’t have a set pattern, other than he will alternate jabs between each of his attacks. If he does Double Punch into an Uppercut, he will not do jabs or a dash.

If the tank stands 9 meters or farther away, Yoong fires 6 projectiles in the order of who hit him since engaging. If the tank is still too far, Yoong dashes behind them.

Color Mechanic (70%/30%):

Yoong has 2 phases, and during each phase he will cast 3 chain lightnings, summon 3 colored adds around the field, at 4:00, 8:00, and 12:00, and give himself 2 colored shields during each phase, the first one after the first chain lightning and the second while the adds are up. The colors depend on the phase.

When the phase occurs, a message warns “Yoong activates the Security System” and the floor panels in the corners of the room will light up either blue, yellow, or red. These are where the three adds will spawn. Yoong will continue to do some normal attacks.

After a series of normal attacks, a message warns “Yoong initiates a Phase Shift” and Yoong will jump to the farthest person from him, and then shoot lightning at the next farthest person. This lightning can bounce, just like Iron Monkey’s, and will give a color buff to each person based on how many times it bounces off of them, as well as a debuff or buff based on the color. The distribution of colors you want depends on the phase.

1 Bounce = Blue Phase Protection, deals damage over time

2 Bounces = Yellow Phase Protection, reduces Recovery

3 Bounces = Red Phase Protection, increases Attack Power

About 30 seconds after the first lightning, a message warns “Yoong activates his Shield” and he will create the first shield around himself, if you hit into this without the same colored buff you will take damage. Ten hits from the person with the same colored buff will remove the shield. If the shield is not broken after 15 seconds, Yoong will absorb the shield and heal 5% of his health, and gain a stack of “Absorb Shield” which increases his damage; on 3 stacks he will heal 25% of his health but lose his shield stacks.

After creating the shield he will do his Double Punch, then he will lift his fists into the air and drop pits of electricity around, causing damage and knockdown. He then does a vacuum into a powerful slam, CC this.

He will resume his normal attack pattern for a short while, before doing a second jump and lightning. This will be followed immediately by him shooting a persistent circle of electricity at the farthest person, and another chain lightning without the jump. Afterwards, a message warns “Yoong summons the Titans” and three colored clones of himself will spawn.

The clones must be attacked by the person with the same Color Phase Protection buff as their color. If they are attacked by someone without the corresponding color, the attacker will receive damage and the clone will gain a 5 second “Phase Protection” buff which reduces the damage they receive by 75%.

After the adds spawn, a message warns “Yoong selects a Target” and he will mark the closest person, dash to them and punch them which will stun, and do a Double Punch. Yoong will then focus all his attacks on this marker for a while, regardless of whoever has aggro; make sure the tank receive this.

As one of the adds is random colored each phase, you cannot fully plan out every phase in advance. Generally, people are assigned roles based on position in the party, 12/34/5(6). They can be assigned however necessary though, the tank should be given the color needed to break the second shield if possible.

If marking is messed up and you are missing a color, using a persistent iframe such as Blade Master’s Winged Protector can allow you to kill the adds without taking damage.

The adds will try to do a special attack based on their color, and they become CC’able when they start the special attack.

When the adds do their special attack, the boss will put up his second shield. Whoever has the correct color should hit the boss until the shield goes away, then go back to their add. Yoong will do his electric pits attack again several seconds after he makes the shield.

Once all the adds are at 1 HP, they will explode and everyone will gain the “Self-Defense Chi” buff for 60 seconds. The explosions will not be simultaneous. Force Master’s Frost Sheath or Destroyer’s Iron Plating should be used for the explosion, and everyone should wait until all three adds have exploded before breaking sheath.

One is a martial dance, where he dashes and punches to the 5 closest targets sequentially, and uppercutting the last person, each hit does significant damage, but are all blockable.

The other has Yoong slamming the ground 5 times, each area of effect expanding in size and damage, and is unblockable. Either have Blade Master’s Winged Protector or Blade Dancer’s Maelstrom up, or just run away from Yoong.

Snowjade Fortress

By: Shadovv

Since his previous defeat, Asura has isolated himself and continues to grow in strength, immersing himself in Dark Chi within the Snowjade Fortress. Set out for Asura’s fallback stronghold, and ensure the darkness is contained once and for all.

Similar to Dawn of Khanda Vihar and Fallen Aransu School, the Snowjade Fortress is a 12-man raid with a weekly lockout. It can be reset three times a week in your character menu using an Aransu Reset (from Treasure Trove events) and 10 gold.

If you die, you can revive and run back to the boss to continue fighting.

Dark Yeti:

HP: 33,500,000

Enrage: None

CC Bars: 6x

Has the exact same attacks as the Angler Yeti of Avalanche Den.

At some point, a message warns “The Dark Yeti summons its kin” and Shadow Yeti adds will spawn. These will mark players other than the tank and throw area of effect snowballs at them; if these hit the boss it will heal by 5% of his max HP and gain a stack of “Absorb Frost”. Melees that are marked should move away from the boss so that it doesn’t heal.

On 3 stacks of Absorb Frost, a message warns “The Dark Yeti prepares a powerful Frost Attack” and the boss will do two field-wide unblockable AoE frost bursts, which apply the “Frozen” debuff if not iframed, which will immobilize the player and disable all their actions. The boss then does a field-wide unblockable AoE slam, which deals significantly increased damage to players with Frozen. Force Master’s/Destroyer’s Frost Sheath/Iron Plating does not protect people from the slam if they are under the effects of Freeze.

The boss can be perma-rooted, having Force Master’s Frost Palm Chill, Soul Fighter’s Snowball Chill, Summoner’s Grasping Roots, or Warlock’s Soul Shackles and the tank stand behind the boss will have it not attack, although it will still summon adds.

Asura:

HP: 154,900,000

Enrage: 5:10

CC Bars: Immune

Attack Pattern:

360 degree single hit sword spin, blockable.

One of the following:

180 degree frontal sword swipe, linear frontal sword slam, 180 degree frontal sword swipe, all blockable, last hit causes knockback and knockdown.

Linear flame fissure to the front and back, then linear flame fissure to both sides, unblockable.

Linear frontal frost cleave, blockable, causes pushback and daze.

One of the following:

180 degree double sword swipe, blockable.

Linear frontal flame wave, blockable.

Linear frontal frost kick, blockable, inflicts aerial.

The boss is stationary and does not move; if the tank stands out of Asura’s range, he will cast a field-wide blockable frost area of effect that inflicts Freeze which is a root that can be removed by SS or dash skills.

Flame/Frost Globes & Blooms 80%/50%/20%:

At these HP thresholds, Asura will do a field-wide unblockable/uniframable vacuum and drops everyone at his feet. Shortly afterward, he will drop a flaming or frost area of effect aura around him that lingers for some time; as soon as you’re able to move, Backstep (SS) away from Asura.

A message then warns “Asura conjures a Flame/Frost Globe.” If he dropped a flaming aura he will conjure Flame Globes; if he dropped a frost aura he will conjure Frost Globes. These will appear at the 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, 7:00, 9:00, and 11:00 positions and move toward Asura. If these touch him, he will gain a stack of “Absorb Orb” that lasts for its phase; if he gains 5 stacks, Asura enrages and wipes the raid. Use Block/Counter/Deflect/Parry skills to dispel the orbs. If you block a Flame Globe you will gain the “Heat” buff; if you block a Frost Globe you will gain the “Frost” buff.

As the orbs travel, Asura will be firing 4 blockable projectiles on the farthest person, then 4 more on the tank, use projectile resistances against these.

After the first wave of orbs, he will spawn a second wave of orbs that is the opposite color, and the aura around Asura disappears. If he first spawned Flame Globes, the next wave will spawn Frost Globes, and vise versa. If you have the buff from blocking the first wave of orbs, said buff will be replaced.

After the two orb waves, a message warns “Flame/Frost Blooms grow around Asura” and he will spawn 6 flowers around him. If he dropped a flaming aura he will spawn Flame Blooms; if he dropped a frost aura he will spawn Frost Blooms. Stepping on the blooms with the opposite color buff (from the second wave of orbs) will remove them, if you step on them with no buff or the same colored buff they will deal massive ticking damage.

If Asura spawned Flame Blooms, he will target the three closest players plus the tank and drop flaming swords that leave a lingering damaging puddle on these people one-by-one up to four times. Do not go near Asura during this or a flaming sword may land on him and kill all the melees. If Asura spawned Frost Blooms, he will drop a large number of frost swords around him up to three times.

After the swords, a message warns “Asura absorbs the Vitality Blooms” and he will absorb the flowers, healing him. He will then resume his normal rotations after.
