Today we will give you leveling tips for your main job in Final Fantasy.
Main Scenario Quests (MSQ)
These are the quests that tell the main story of Final Fantasy XIV.Â
These main quests are divided into several quests, and through this process, you will unlock many new features like dungeons, airship travel, trials, and a personal Chocobo mount. You can get most of your experience by doing these.
Finish The Hunt For Specimens
These quests are new to Endwalker. First, enter the rising stone entrance, start your main scenario quests and follow wherever it leads. After some time, you will reach the new Endwalker capital, Old Sharlayan. Once you enter, the first step is to talk with Diminutive Gleaner, who stands just below the main steps. After talking with him for some time, he will send you to another lady by the name Northota.Â
She will be standing next to the new hunting board. After talking with her, you will have access to the Guild ship hunt, the Endwalker version of hunts.
Â
Although these quests will give little rewards and XP, most are right next to the main scenario quest path, so this is a good free XP for you. At first, you will only get a standard license that offers only 5 targets, but as you level up, you will get 3 licenses with 5 targets each. So always check the board, and in my opinion, it is level 83 next, followed by level 87 as the last one.
Side Quests
Side jobs are recommended because, after your first job, your leveling progress becomes more efficient with an armory bonus which is granted upon being one level or more levels below your highest jobs.Â
But you can learn the outline of the areas and learn about the culture and tradition of the citizens that you meet during your journeys. It is not necessary, but it is recommended to do the side quests.
Blue Quests and Aethercurrent Quests
Blue quests will offer current unlocks and able you to fly in each new zone. Jalamuc is one of the NPC that will guide you on these blue quests. Doing a side quest will bring you to these blue quests, but if you skip it, it will still be available in Aether’s current quests.Â
Aether current can be found using help from some websites, but you can also use Aether compass in-game that can be found under your collection tab. The aether compass will show the closest aether current next to your character’s location.
Sometimes this compass will show ways to aether current that cannot be accessed due to missing quest progress. So use your skill and search for the currents beside the waterfall, cliff, or watchtowers. If there is an invisible wall blocking your way, just delay the search until you unlock more quests next time.
Ensure to activate free heat of battle buff and squadron battle manual when you reach dungeons or areas with a longer fighting time because these are good experience points.
