With the release of Endwalker came the new job Sage. Today we’ll go over the opener, rotation, and abilities for Sage.
Sage Opener and Rotation
Here is a basic opener and rotation for Sage:
Pop mind pot -> Dosis -> Eukrasia -> Eukrasian Dosis -> Dosis -> Dosis -> Phlegma -> Phlegma -> Dosis x5
Make sure to keep Dosis dots up at all times, as this is your main damage.
Sage’s Resources
A sage usually uses two critical resources, the Addersgall and Addressing. These two resources both have consisted its abilities. The Adderall can be utilized on healing and mitigating, and you can passively gain the Addersgall in combat. On the other hand, is the Addersting. This resource can also be used when damaging an ability.

Sage’s Abilities
Damage Abilities
– Dosis
Dosis can be your go-to damage ability, especially when attacking a single target. Remember that this ability is at 1.5 second cast time. You can weave the abilities not included in the global cooldown during this one-second limit.
Note: All of the damaging abilities can have an extra effect that will get you into the moment. You will know more about this on the healing abilities.
– Eukrasian Dosis
Unlike the Dosis, this Eukrasian Dosis can last up to 30 seconds. This is also known as your damage over time ability. To make use of this ability, you will need to use Eurasia.
– Eukrasia
Eukrasia can modify dosis in your creation dosis. Remember that you will need to maintain your Eukrasian Dosis on the enemy as it can range up to more than twice MP efficiency than regular Dosis.
Note: Running your Dosis for at least 15 seconds, equivalent to 5 damages, will get you a good value of a creation Dosis.
– Dyskrasia
You should use a damaging attack when striking two or more enemies to be an alternative to Dosis. This damage ability makes an on-the-spot cast surrounding your small area, which does a sage job. Dyskrasia also has a feature that you can do mobility during the attack. This would help you follow the mobs running, and you can still put up damage.
– Phlegm
Phlegm is a GCD ability has two stacks that can cause enormous damage to the enemy. However, this damage ability can only be used when close to the enemy.
– Toxicon
Toxicon is a damage ability is a rapid castability that can provide moderate damage to an enemy. Toxicon is part of the Addressing resource.
Healing and Mitigation Abilities
– Diagnosis
Diagnosis is a flat GCD healing ability is used on your trump card. This healing ability is not the most MP efficient.
– Eukrasian Diagnosis
Eukrasian Diagnosis can bring down the healing ability to 300 and give the target a barrier. By the time the target’s barrier is broken through the help of enemy damage, you can have a stack of Addersting that can be used to the Toxicon.
– Druochole
Druochole is known as the single-target healing ability. This healing and modification ability is connected to Addersgall. With the help of the Druochole, you can regenerate the one-of-a-kind resource and the percentage of the player’s MP disability.
– Taurochole
Taurochole is also a single target healing spell that adds mitigation. This is much higher than the Druochole, but the Taurochole is in the 45-second recast. This healing ability can cure the target and be ready for a more damaging attack after.
Note: Your top priority is the Taurochole to deal with different tank-busters.
– Hyma
Hyma provides a barrier that substitutes 5 times broken wall. This can be very useful when the enemy is repeatedly receiving heavy attacks in a short span. Hyma can also be an excellent tool with massive dungeon poles during a fight.
– Kardia
With the help of Kardia, the enemy player will be given suffering in the effect of Kardia.
– Soteria
Soteria has a relation with Kardia as they can heal for a brief amount of time. It is recommended to use the Soteria when you don’t want to purchase a costly healing process.
Raidwide Healing
– Prognosis
Prognosis consists of 300 healing potency. Keep in mind to not use this ability in every possible way. Why? Because it is not MP efficient and can keep your GCD slot away. Use this only when needed.
– Eukrasian Prognosis
This healing ability provides a barrier to the healing effect. This is said to be preferable to the prognosis. However, it will still lessen your overall uptime.
– Kerachole
Kerachole is an AOE mitigation that can cure the target for only 15 seconds.
Note: Can be used before performing a raid-wide ability
– Physis
Physis is a raidwide healing ability that can heal an AOE within its 60 seconds cooldown. This is good because it would not cost any MP and can recover overtime.
– Panama
Panama is claimed to be the AOE version of the Hyma healing ability. However, Panama has more reduced potencies than the Hyma.
– Ixochole
Ixochole is the best healing ability that uses an Addersgall. This can be less efficient. Still, it can be a helpful ability to save your teammates.
– Olas
Olas is an AOE burst seal can be applied in mitigation for 20 seconds. Olas can also be used to acquire free potency.
– Pneuma
Pneuma is a damaging ability that can provide you with 600 potency. It can heal anyone inside a 20-yard radius.
– Pepsis
A type of AOE heals is used when wrecking the eukrasian diagnosis and prognosis barriers. When Pepsis is used, you can destroy any border of the target.
Unique Abilities
These unique abilities can be classified as healing and damaging.
– Icarus
Icarus is capable of targeting your teammate or your enemy. This is convenient to use for sage because of the nature of its job. Icarus can also save you from the mechanics by damaging your members.
– Zoe
Zoe can extend your healing potency and stability up to 50 percent.
Note: Zoe is a one time use and is best paired with your highest potency heals
– Krasis
Krasis will give your target a 20 percent healing that can increase in 10 seconds.
– Rhizomatic
Rhizomatic can give you a stack of Addersgall. Technically, Addersgall will be needed for your healing skills.
Note: You can use this ability in two different ways:
1. Hold it to use in extreme and high damaging situations
2. Keep using it for a more efficient result when in a cooldown.
