The premise of this event is to run specific duties that allow you to obtain tomestones. Once you get the tomestones, you can then redeem them for cool things such as earrings, dog mounts, housing items, and personally, I’m going after that dwarf rabbit bunny that is adorable.
Today we’re here to talk about the fastest method to getting these tomestones, and I believe this to be the quickest and most efficient method possible.
Now before we start, the game has selected a certain number of duties that you can do that will give you tomestones, and you cannot run this unsync. That is a big thing you need to look out for. Do not even try to attempt to run one of these things unsync; you’re wasting your time. It won’t count.
Recommended Irregular Tomestone Farming Method – Trials
We have extreme Nidhogg’s Rage that will give you 8 tomestones and extreme Hades’s Elegy that will provide you with 10 tomestones. I don’t recommend Nidhogg’s Rage because Hades’s Elegy just gives a lot more and I’m gonna give you three reasons why you should run hades instead.
- 10 tomestones per run for a fight that lasts around seven to ten minutes if you know it.
- The drops are pretty good. If we’re all gonna sit here and farm Hades, there’s a good chance everybody in final fantasy will end up with the Hades mount, which looks pretty nice; a dragon with dark colors. Not only is the mount a good drop, but the fragments (Hades’s Auracite) you can get are fantastic. At the moment, fragments now sell for a lot of money until we all spam Hades, and it plummets. So take advantage of this right now before it’s too late.Â
- And the last reason you want to run Hades is that the music is an absolute banger; it’s amazing! Shadowbringer has excellent music, but of course, you’ll probably turn this off after a bit and probably switch to music you like.
Let’s rule out a few things why the other duties are not worth running and just pretty much stick to this one method I’m telling you guys.
Alliance RaidsÂ
They just take way too long to run. Probably about close to 20 to 30 minutes at least. If you’re running for the near-content stuff like the glamour pieces or the coins, that’s awesome! But for farming, I don’t recommend this at all.
DungeonsÂ
We have the Castrum Meridianum that gives 14 tomestones, and The Praetorium that gives 20 tomestones. These take too long.
PVP
If you can stomach PVP, it’s not too long. It’s a great way to kind of kill two birds with one stone. You’re able to farm towards those achievements for exclusive PVP mounts, rewards, and titles, and even wolf marks if you need them. This is an alternative way to farm irregular tomestones.
Raid Dungeons
Now they’re not too long, but at most, you’re only getting three tomestones per run. So if you want to put yourself through Eden’s Gate: Sepulture which is, you know, the Titan fight, I don’t recommend that if you’re not experienced with it. It’s not that bad compared to Eden’s Gate (Savage). However, it’s not recommended.
That’s all there is to it! Farming irregular tometones in this manner is the most effective method of obtaining them.
